A New Application in Subacromial Impingement Syndrome

Individuals diagnosed with Subacromial Impingement Syndrome by a physical therapist based on MRI results and examination findings will be included in the study. 40 people will be randomly divided into blood flow restrictive exercise (BFRT) and structured exercise program (SEP) groups, 20 people in each group. Participants will receive two evaluations: before starting treatment and immediately after 4 weeks of treatment. Pain, shoulder ROM, shoulder functional level, quality of life, shoulder muscle strength, grip strength, and sleep quality evaluation will be performed. The treatment program will be 5 days a week for a total of 4 weeks. The treatment will be individualized by calculating the appropriate resistance loads for the exercise program. All participants will undergo progressive exercises in sessions conducted by a physiotherapist.

Testicular Self-Examination Awareness in Young Men

This study aims to determine the effect of education based on the health belief model on testicular self-examination awareness and health beliefs in young men. H0 Hypothesis: Education based on the health belief model has no effect on the awareness of testicular self-examination and health beliefs about testicular self-examination of young men in the experimental and control groups. H1a Hypothesis: The training based on the health belief model will increase the awareness of young men in the experimental group about testicular self-examination compared to those in the control group. H1b Hypothesis: The training based on the health belief model will increase the mean scores of the sensitivity subscale of young men in the experimental group compared to those in the control group. H1c Hypothesis: The training based on the health belief model will increase the mean scores of the benefit subscale of young men in the experimental group compared to those in the control group. H1d Hypothesis: The training based on the health belief model will increase the mean scores of the seriousness subscale of young men in the experimental group compared to those in the control group. H1e Hypothesis: The training based on the health belief model will decrease the mean scores of the barriers subscale of young men in the experimental group compared to those in the control group. H1f Hypothesis: The training based on the health belief model will increase the mean scores of the health motivation subscale of young men in the experimental group compared to those in the control group. A 3-Year Clinical Evaluation Of Endocrown Restorations With Two Different Materials

The clinical performance of two different materials in endodontically treated teeth produced with CAD/CAM system will be evaluated and compared. After obtaining a signed informed consert form from all the patients, all restorations will be placed by a single clinician. All endocrown restorations will be produced using the same CAD/CAM system. 52 restorations will be fabricated using Lava Ultimate (LU, 3M Espe, Seefeld, Germany) blocks and 38 restorations will be fabricated using Celtra Duo (CD, Dentsply Sirona, York, PA, USA) blocks. All restorative procedures will be conducted according to manufacturers' instructions. Restorations will be scored using modified United States Public Health Service (USPHS) criteria after baseline, 6,12,36, 48, 60 months. Descriptive statistics will be performed using Chi-square and Fisher exact test.

The Effect of Oral Whey Consumption on Insulin Resistance, Cortisol, Crp, Albumin Level and Healing Quality Before Total Hip Arthroplasty

Purpose: It was planned to determine the effect of oral whey given before total hip arthroplasty (THA) on postoperative insulin resistance, cortisol, CRP((C reactive protein), albumin level and healing quality. Design: It was planned as Randomized Controlled. Method: Research: The study is planned to include individuals aged 50-70, who are planned for THA in the orthopedics and traumatology clinic of a public hospital, who have undergone spinal anesthesia, who have BMI <40 and ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists)1,2,3. Individuals with endocrine or renal disorders or allergies to whey will be excluded from the study. It was planned to include at least 60 patients in the study (30 in the intervention group, 30 in the control group). It is planned to use the Patient Introduction Information Form, Physiological Measurements Chart (vital findings (blood pressure, pulse, respiratory SpO2 (pulse oximetry) value), blood glucose, cortisol, CRP and albumin value and insulin resistance) and postoperative recovery quality scale in data collection. The intervention group will be given 600 ml of oral whey 6 hours before the surgery, and the control group will be allowed to drink 600 ml of drinking water 6 hours before the surgery. 3ml of blood will be taken for blood glucose, CRP, cortisol, albumin and insulin resistance values 24 hours before the surgery, just before entering the surgery and 24 hours after the surgery. The first part of the healing quality scale is planned to be evaluated immediately before the surgery, and the second part 24 hours after the surgery. Conclusion: When the literature was scanned, it was seen that the number of studies examining the effect of oral whey on metabolic and endocrine values in orthopedic patients was very limited and academic studies were needed. In this context, examining the effect of whey intake given before THA on the patient's blood glucose, CRP, albumin, cortisol, insulin resistance and healing quality is an original research that will contribute to the field.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the education program and educational videos to be applied to children in terms of environmentally sustainable behaviors and awareness of the health effects of climate change in 60-72-month-old children studying in Eskişehir Odunpazarı Municipality Day Care Center and Nurseries. In addition, in this study, it was aimed to measure the level of global climate change awareness of parents and to evaluate the relationship with children's environmentally sustainable behaviors.

The most common reason for applying to a hospital in the postoperative period is due to the double J stent inserted during operations of the ureteroscopic lithotripsy, which is reflected pain (T11-L2). The posterior approximation QL block (QL-P) extends more quickly to the thoracic paravertebral cavity or thoracolumbar plane, creating analgesia from T 7' to L 1'. The effects of double J catheter in patients are followed by the 'Ureteral Stent Symptom Scoring Survey.' QL-P for postoperative analgesia after URS operations Our primary hypothesis in this prospective, randomized, controlled study is that the symptoms of the sub-urinary system associated with the DJS of the QL-P block will decrease. Our secondary hypotheses in the study are to investigate the effects of the unilateral QL-P block, made under ultrasound guidance, on pain scores after ureteroscopic lithotripsy operations due to unilateral ureteral stones made under spinal anesthesia.
