There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of this study to investigate and compare functional capacity with different tests and to evaluate the relationship between functional capacity and quality of life during acute pulmonary exacerbation in children with cystic fibrosis. Exercise tests associated with prognostic values in CF patients and decreased exercise capacity has been correlated with a reduction in health-related quality of life. Pulmonary functions, functional capacity and quality of life will examine in this study.

The aim of this study to evaluate the patients who underwent controlled hypotensive anesthesia under standardized depth of anesthesia; preoperative and postoperative blood HIF 1a, TAS, TOS measurement and cerebral perfusion evaluation with NIRS and to investigate tissue hypoxia secondary to hypotensive anesthesia and the changes of the mediators at the tissue level and which blood pressure parameters are related.
Aim: The study aims to determine the effect of the anger management program to be implemented by integrating the rhythm component of music with the Gross Process Model of Emotion Regulation on the anger expression and anger types of nursing students determined to be under risk through screenings. Materials and Methods: This single-blind factorial designed randomized experimental research was conducted with three control groups. The study group consisted of third-grade students (N=67) who were determined to have scores above average from The State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory (STAXI). The study data were collected with pre-post tests and follow-up measurements using STAXI. The experimental interventions were completed in five sessions after pilot study with a specialist. The data were analyzed using one-way and two-way variance analyses (4x3 Factorial ANOVA). Effect size was measured with ε^2.
Intravascular volume assesment is important for the management of the patients in the intensive care unit. Respiratory variation ratio of the inferior vena cava (IVC) can be determined by ultrasonography (USG) and is a useful tool for hemodynamic evaluation of the patient. Aim of this study is to search for correlation between respiratory variation ratios of the internal jugular vein (IJV) and the IVC before and after passive leg raise. Another aim of this study is to search for variability between ultrasonographic measurements of different doctors.
This study will evaluate how age, visual sensation and different ground properties affect of postural sways and stability limits at different support surface widths. 60 individuals will be included in this study.
This is an educational work. Thirty patients with pulmonary sarcoidosis will be included in the study and randomly selected into two training groups. One group will receive home inspiratory muscle training (IMT) for 15 minutes, twice a day, 7 days a week with the resh Threshold IMT 'device. In the IMT group, the initial training intensity will be determined by measuring the maximal inspiratory muscle strength (MIP) with the intraoral pressure measuring device, 30% of the measured (MIP) value will be started at the first evaluation and the new training intensity will be determined by calculating 30% of the measured value by repeating the MIP measurement every week. The other group will perform upper extremity and trunk exercises combined with respiratory exercises at home for 7 days, twice a day for 15 minutes.Patients will be evaluated before the training program and 8 weeks after the training. In the first evaluation, demographic information and clinical characteristics of the patients will be noted. In this study, upper and lower extremity exercise capacity, respiratory functions, peripheral muscle strength, dyspnea, fatigue, sleep quality, cognitive function, daily living activities, physical activity level, anxiety, depression, upper extremity and trunk exercises combined with inspiratory muscle training in patients with sarcoidosis and the impact on quality of life.
This is a Phase 2/3 study that comprises 5 substudies designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of oral etrasimod as therapy in adult participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (CD) who are refractory or intolerant to at least 1 of the current therapies for CD (ie, corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, or biologics). The overall duration of this study is up to 282 weeks, inclusive of the Screening Period, Treatment Period of up to 274 weeks (Induction, Extension or Maintenance, and Long-term Extension Periods), and the 4-Week Follow-Up Period for safety assessment.
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is the most common neuromuscular disease in childhood with an estimate incidence of 1 in 3500 to 5000 male births. The effect of aerobic training on muscle architectural properties and motor functions such as muscle activation is not clear in DMD. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of aerobic training on these parameters in children with DMD. Twenty children with DMD included in the study will be divided into two groups as home program and home program+aerobic training with block randomization method. Home program including stretching, respiratory, range of motion and mild resistance exercise with body weight will be asked to apply 3-5 days a week for 12 weeks, aerobic training will be performed 3 days a week for 12 weeks at 60% of their maximum hearth rate with 50 minutes total duration consisting of 10 min warm up and 10 min cool down period. Muscle architectural properties, muscle strength, muscle activation and motor function will be assessed with ultrasonographic, hand-held myometry, surface EMG and Motor Function Measure, consecutively. Assessments will be applied at pre-training and after 12 weeks of training.
40 patients diagnosed with localised periodontitis will be included at each center, 20 patients will be treated with the control treatment, 20 patients will be treated by test treatment.
