There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of this study is to investigate the feasibility and efficacy of the v-NOTES approach for extremely obese patients with early-stage type 1 endometrial cancer.
Cerebral palsy (CP) is caused by a non‐progressive injury in the developing brain, which leads to problems in functional mobility, posture, neuro musculoskeletal functions and gait. Around 75% of children with CP are ambulatory however they have gait problems such as excessive knee flexion, stiff knee, crouch gait or equinus which affects the quality of gait. When constructing an effective treatment plan in children with CP, a comprehensive assessment should be performed. One of the most essential assessments is gait analysis. Gait analysis is used in the quantitative assessment of gait disturbances providing functional diagnosis, assessment for treatment, planning, and monitoring of progress. Gait analysis aims to determine the factors leading to gait disturbances. To reach this aim, a large amount of quantitative data concerning the gait characteristics of a patient is analyzed. The assessment of these data can be performed via standardized clinical videos, recorded with numerical video cameras used in conjunction with optical 3D systems. The purpose of this study was to confirm the test-retest reliability of a commercially available body-worn sensor— G-Walk® sensor system—for spatiotemporal gait parameters in children with CP.
Enteral feeding tube (EFT) and component of feeding systems can serve as a reservoir of microorganisms, and the main reason is inappropriate hand hygiene practices. The aim of the project is to determine colonization of microorganisms on the EFT and other components and assess the relation between colonization and adherence to hand hygiene practices by healthcare workers in the intensive care unit. This prospective, observational and semi-experimental study will be conducted in one year. The project will be completed with healthcare workers and 51 patients who are feeding enteral route via nasogastric tube at least for three days. The researchers will provide training to healthcare workers in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) Hand Hygiene Guidelines. Hand hygiene behaviors of the participants will be observed and the question forms will be filled before and after training by researchers. The samples for microbial analysis will be collected from the EFT by sterile swaps.
The aim of this study is analyzing the pathologies in cervical spinal MRI images by using image processing algorithms. Determination of these pathological cases which taught to the system with deep learning and determination of their levels. Finally; verification of the system by comparing radiologist reports and automated system outputs.
The aim of this study is to observe the effect of respiratory recruitment maneuver on intraoperative ventilatory parameters and postoperative pulmonary complications in patients over 18 years scheduled for laparoscopic hysterectomy.
In particular, pentraxine 3 (PTX3) molecule was assumed to have a prognostic value in acute myocardial infarction. In patients affected by acute myocardial infarction, early plasma elevation of PTX3 appears to predict a worse outcome in these patients in the longer term. The inflammatory basis of preeclampsia resembles an atherogenic process. It is planned to investigate the role of these two molecules in endothelial dysfunction typical of preeclampsia. The level of circulating PTX3 and Lp-PLA2 in preeclamptic patients and their serum levels according to the severity of preeclampsia and presence of IUGR, and comparison with the control group without preeclampsia and It is planned to investigate the cut-off values and sensitivity and specificity of both molecules together and separately in preeclampsia.
Erector Spinae Plane Block (ESPB) is a regional anesthesia technique that is used for as a part of multimodal analgesia. Bupivacaine is one of the local anesthetic drugs and it is applied for ESPB. In this study, it is aimed to examine its blood concentration following the application for ESPB regarding its adverse effects and pharmacokinetics.
Serum amyloid A and Interleukin-1 (IL-1) receptor antagonist (A-SAA and IL-1Ra) values; - Comparison of pregnant women with and without GDM diagnosis - Comparison of insulin therapy and diet-regulated GDM patients - Comparison of pregnant women with and without LGA (large gestational age) - Comparison of pregnant women with and without polyhydroamnios - Investigation of its effect on pregnancy prognosis - In the prediction of GDM diagnosis, it is aimed to study the sensitivity and specificity of both parameters and cut off values. (In GDM patients, liver and kidney function parameters will also be evaluated with A-SAA and IL-1Ra levels).
Purpose One of the main reasons for apoptosis and dormant cell phases in degenerative retinal diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is growth factor withdrawal in the cellular microenvironment. Growth factors and neurotrophins can significantly slow down retinal degeneration and cell death in animal models. One possible source of autologous growth factors is platelet-richplasma.The purpose of this study was to determine if subtenon injections of autologous platelet-rich plasma (aPRP) can have beneficial effects on visual function in RP patients by reactivating dormant photoreceptors.
This study evaluates taste function and eating habits in patients with PCOS compared to healthy women and before and after oral contraceptive use.
