Effectiveness of Music During Cardiac Catheterization

The research was planned on a randomized controlled experimental basis. Simple stratified randomization will be performed according to gender and age. Consent will be obtained from children and parents who agree to participate in the research. Before angiography, "Child Fear Scale", "State-Trait Anxiety Scale (STAI-TX)", and "Vital Signs Follow-up Form" will be applied to all children taking part in the study and life signs will be recorded. During angiography, the first group will listen to the music that the child wants to listen to. The second group will listen to the music which determined by the researchers. No music will be played to the control group. During angiography (when the child is listening to the music) vital signs will be recorded in 0. min., 1st minute, 5th minute, 10th minute, 15th minute, 30th minute and 60th minute. "Numerical Pain Scale", "Child Fear Scale", "State Anxiety Scale", and "Vital Signs Follow-up Form" will be re-evaluated to all three groups after angiography.

Comparison of Two Different Approaches in the Surgical Treatment of Tubal Ectopic Pregnancy

In this study we aim to compare conventional laparoscopy and natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery in the surgical treatment of ectopic pregnancy. All the patients, with an indication of surgery for ectopic pregnancy, will be asked to participate in this clinical trial. Indication of surgery will be based on clinical findings, ultrasound scans and serum hcg levels. There will be no exclusion criteria. Duration of surgery, successful completion of the operation, intraoperative data and postoperative data will be collected. All the patients will be asked to fill out quality of recovery-40 (QoR-40) questionnaire and 36-item short form health survey (SF-36) before surgery. QoR-40 questionnaire will be repeated 24 hours after surgery and repeated every 24 hours until discharge. SF-36 will be repeated at 1-month follow-up visit. Patients will be also evaluated at postoperative 3-months, and female sexual function index will be asked to be filled-out.

Training With Mobile Application in Breast Cancer

Endocrine hormonal therapy (EHT) applied to avoid recurrence and metastasis of the breast cancer has also side effects which do not threaten life; however, it does negatively effects quality of life. The objective of this study was to determine the effects on quality of life of a mobile app-based (e-mobile) education for supportive care of patients with breast cancer receiving adjuvant endocrine hormonal therapy. The data were collected to with face to face and/or telephone interviews at 2 time points: prior to the initiation (T0) and after the completion (T1) of mobile app-based education. Patients were received education via mobile app for 12 weeks during which they were contacted in every 15 days; a mobile app-based (e-mobile) education was provided, including information about breast cancer definition, treatment process, symptoms management, adequate nutrition, regular physical activity and coping with stress. In this process, the control group patients were provided with standard care.

The Effect of Kinesiophobia on Spatio-temporal and Functionality in Total Knee Replacement Surgery

It is stated that after arthroplasty surgery, besides the physiological factors, the factors related to the individuals may affect the recovery. Among these factors, one of the most defined in the literature is kinesiophobia. Although kinesiophobia is defined as the terms of "fear of movement" and "fear related to pain"; There are also definitions for situations in which fear of movement is most extreme or pain-related fear avoidance beliefs. Kinesiophobia, which usually occurs in the preoperative period and supports the development of chronic pain, may also affect the early recovery findings. It is very important to determine the presence and severity of kinesiophobia as it is associated with functional results after surgery. Individuals' perceptions about themselves, expectations of recovery, and personal beliefs before surgery are thought to affect recovery in the early period. In the studies conducted, it was stated that individuals with high perception about himself and the surgical process recover faster and return to activities. However, it is emphasized that studies should be conducted on the effect of individuals' personal factors such as self-efficacy, self-perception and their perspective on health on the healing process.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a progressive disease characterized by degeneration of the joint cartilage, which is involved in the immune system leading to proinflammatory cytokine and metalloproteinase release. Knee osteoarthritis is the most common form. The healing is very slow and the damage is not fully recovered, so the degeneration process continues and no treatment modalities completely remove this process. Various methods are used in the treatment of OA and total joint replacement is performed in the patients with OA recently. Ten patients with Kellgren-Lawrence grade II-III knee OA who had been applied for knee pain and received conservative treatment for 6 months and had no benefit will be taken to study. Patients will be assessed 7 (V1-7) times during the study. Clinical, immunologic and radiological treatment effectiveness and clinical improvement will be evaluated at the beginning of the treatment and in all follow-up patients participating in the study.

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of magrolimab in combination with azacitidine compared to that of azacitidine plus placebo in previously untreated participants with intermediate/high/very high risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) by Revised International Prognostic Scoring System (IPSS-R) as measured by complete remission (CR) and overall survival (OS).
