NCT ID: NCT06291584 Recruiting - Sedentary Behavior Clinical Trials

Effects of Exercises on Functional Capacity

Start date: October 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this study, the researchers aim to investigate the effects of strengthening and respiratory exercises on the face and online on functional capacity.

NCT ID: NCT06291558 Recruiting - Depression Clinical Trials

Exercise Training for Smoking Students

Start date: October 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Smoking can damage lung functions as a result of high carbon monoxide and low hemoglobin oxygen carrying capacity in the blood. Smoking between young people continues to increase, which can cause respiratory function problems and lung diseases at an early age. In the studies, it has been seen that smoking may reduce the oppression and exercise ability.

NCT ID: NCT06291519 Completed - Clinical trials for Multisensory Stimulation

The Effect of Multisensory Stimulus Method on Pain and Physiological Parameters in Infants

Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aimed to investigate the impact of employing the multi-sensory stimulation technique by both the mother and the nurse on the pain and physiological responses of infants aged 2-6 months during vaccination. The significance of pain experienced during vaccination in children is emphasized, potentially leading to avoidance behaviors toward healthcare services. There is growing evidence supporting the efficacy of non-pharmacological interventions. Multi-sensory stimulation, which integrates various stimuli such as taste, touch, and speech, alleviates infant pain. However, there has been a lack of studies assessing the effectiveness of this approach during vaccination administered by different healthcare providers. Hence, this study sought to explore the effects of multi-sensory stimulation by both mother and nurse applied to pain and physiological parameters. It is anticipated that the findings of this study will contribute to both pain management strategies and healthcare practices.

NCT ID: NCT06291454 Completed - Clinical trials for Periodontal Diseases

GCF Levels of Chemokines in Periodontitis

Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

This study aimed to determine CCL19/MIP3beta(β) and CCL20/MIP3alpha(α) in the gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) of the patients with different periodontitis phenotypes. A total of 72 individuals, 24 with Stage III Grade B periodontitis (Group 1), 24 with Stage III Grade C periodontitis (Group 2), and 24 periodontally healthy (control group) (Group 3), were included in the study. GCF and clinical periodontal parameters were obtained at baseline. MIP3β and MIP3α levels in GCF were determined by ELISA.

NCT ID: NCT06291376 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy

Study of Ravulizumab in Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy (IgAN)

ICAN
Start date: March 29, 2024
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study to evaluate the efficacy of ravulizumab compared with placebo to reduce proteinuria and slow the rate of eGFR decline in adult participants with IgAN who are at risk of disease progression.

NCT ID: NCT06290804 Active, not recruiting - Child Health Clinical Trials

Assessing Sustainable Behaviors and Health Impacts of Climate Change

Start date: January 15, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The relationship between climate change, sustainability and child health is complex and important. These three concepts are interacting factors and have significant impacts on children's health. Sustainability measures are vital to protect child health by mitigating the impacts of climate change. At the same time, children's education and awareness is an important factor that will contribute to future generations living in a sustainable world. As a society, tackling climate change and striving for a sustainable future is crucial to ensure that children live healthy and safe lives. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the education program and educational videos to be applied to children in terms of environmentally sustainable behaviors and awareness of the health effects of climate change in 60-72-month-old children studying in Eskişehir Odunpazarı Municipality Day Care Center and Nurseries. In addition, in this study, it was aimed to measure the level of global climate change awareness of parents and to evaluate the relationship with children's environmentally sustainable behaviors.

NCT ID: NCT06290700 Completed - Functional Status Clinical Trials

Effect of Neonatal Care Education for Primiparous Pregnant Women on Postpartum Maternal Function and Quality of Life

Start date: November 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of neonatal care education for primiparous pregnant women on postpartum maternal function and quality of life.

NCT ID: NCT06290362 Completed - Stress Clinical Trials

Exploring Digitalized Interventions for Stress and Problem Solving

Start date: April 16, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Excessive and prolonged stress can have detrimental effects on both psychological and physiological health, compromising overall well-being and functioning. This study examines the impact of telepsychiatric group consultation using Instagram as an unexplored online social media platform on stress levels and problem-solving skills among young adults.

NCT ID: NCT06290323 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms

Effects of Quadratus Lumborum Block on Lower Urinary System Symptoms

Start date: January 25, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The most common reason for applying to a hospital in the postoperative period is due to the double J stent inserted during operations of the ureteroscopic lithotripsy, which is reflected pain (T11-L2). The posterior approximation QL block (QL-P) extends more quickly to the thoracic paravertebral cavity or thoracolumbar plane, creating analgesia from T 7' to L 1'. The effects of double J catheter in patients are followed by the 'Ureteral Stent Symptom Scoring Survey.' QL-P for postoperative analgesia after URS operations Our primary hypothesis in this prospective, randomized, controlled study is that the symptoms of the sub-urinary system associated with the DJS of the QL-P block will decrease. Our secondary hypotheses in the study are to investigate the effects of the unilateral QL-P block, made under ultrasound guidance, on pain scores after ureteroscopic lithotripsy operations due to unilateral ureteral stones made under spinal anesthesia.
