There are about 3709 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Thailand. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of VIS649 in participants with immunoglobulin A (IgA) Nephropathy (IgAN)
The aim of the present study is to determine the effect of the five-session dual-tDCS combine with physical therapy on gait performance, balance and lower limbs muscle strength in patients with subacute stroke.
Although the asthmatic treatments currently be effective in term of efficacy of inhaled medications and good clinical outcome including symptom controlled and asthma exacerbation number, the large number of worse event still have been reported. Few cases eventually have been intubated and died even though using optimal medication. In this study, we will search to identify factors that may influence intubation in hospitalised patient with asthmatic attack.
The investigators proposed that pain, agitation, delirium and sleep deprivation protocol (PADS) will help improve the patients' outcomes (shortening ICU length of stay, improving ventilator free days, increasing delirium free days) in critically ill patients, a university hospital, Thailand.
This study include cancer patients who had received chemotherapy that include cisplatin. Patients were randomly assigned to either a mannitol 20 g intravenous single dose after cisplatin or a placebo (saline). The primary outcome was to compare acute kidney injury (AKI), which was defined as increase creatinine 0.3 mg/dl in 48 hours by KDIGO criteria using serum creatinine and 24 hour urine creatinine to calculated.
Video-assisted thoracoscopic (VATs) lobectomy is mild to moderately pain procedure. For conventional thoracotomy, there are many invasive pain control such as epidural analgesia, paravertebral block. However, for VATs, the invasive pain control somehow are too invasive. Nefopam is non-opioid painkilling medication, Serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine reuptake inhibitor. Many study were demonstrated positive outcome of nefopam usage in many operation such as abdominal surgery, laparocopic surgery, orthopedic surgery. Nevertheless, nefopam for VATs is not well studied yet.
Molbio Diagnostics Ltd. (India) has developed the Truelab™ Real Time quantitative PCR system that is widely used in India for diagnostics of tuberculosis (TB). The system consists of two portable machines and two microfluidic cartridges and can be used in point-of-care settings. The manufacturer has recently developed a new assay that detects HCV RNA, the Truenat™ HCV RNA assay. It is a simple two-step assay for RNA extraction and amplification with a total turnaround time of 60 min, using whole blood, plasma and serum as sample types. Most importantly, the assay can be performed from a drop of capillary blood eliminating the need for venous access and blood draw and increasing its usability in the settings where phlebotomy service are not available. To date, validation of the assay was performed using archived plasma specimens and contrived whole blood specimens. FIND aims to conduct a multicentre evaluation to assess the assay's sensitivity, specificity and quantitative accuracy in freshly collected whole blood, plasma and serum specimens from target populations. The evaluation aims to gather performance data in line with the requirements set forth in the Common Technical Specifications 2009/886/EC (CTS) of the CE In Vitro Diagnostics Medical Devices Directive 98/79/CE (CE-IVDD), as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) Technical Specification Series 10 (draft) (TSS-10) for In vitro diagnostic (IVDs) medical devices used for the qualitative and quantitative detection of HCV RNA.
Patients with dyspepsia will have negative impact to their life and common cause is Helicobactor pylori infection. Rapid urease test is the easy available and rapid method to test the infection but the test may be interfered by proton pump inhibitor, bismuth or antibiotics .In general, patients with dyspepsia usually take proton pump inhibitor to relieve dyspepsia so those patients may not stop the drug before test the infection with rapid urease test. So author aims to measure the sensitivity of rapid urease test from biopsy of body, which H. pylori would migrate if the patients still take proton pump inhibitor and biopsy of antrum, which is standard location of biopsy compare to pathology for H. pylori in each sites in patients who do not stop taking proton pump inhibitor
To investigate that olanzapine can reduced side effect about nausea and vomiting in women with gynecologic cancers receiving carboplatin-based regimen by using olanzapine and placebo
The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of home based dual tDCS combined with exercise on upper and lower limb motor functions in chronic ischemic stroke patients.
