There are about 8563 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Sweden. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Diabetic foot ulcers are a challenge to health care professionals because there are only few effective topical therapeutic interventions. Growth factor treatment has shown to be beneficial for healing of diabetic foot ulcers in conjunction with extensive surgical debridement. Autologues platelet releasate which contains platelet derived growth factor appears to be more effective than standard therapy in case studies. This protocol will evaluate the healing effect of Vivostat PRF treatment of non-eschemic foot ulcers to identify responders and to enable sample size calculation for a subsequent pivotal trial.
The primary purpose is to investigate tolerability/safety of repeated weekly doses of AZD8848 administered intranasally to seasonal allergic rhinitis patients.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether exemestane plus dasatinib will be well-tolerated and will increase progression-free survival (PFS) in the treatment of advanced estrogen-receptor positive (ER+) breast cancer after disease progression (PD) on a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor (NSAI).
The study will investigate the effect of PL-56 on albumin leakage and renal function (glomerular filtration rate) in patients with IgA nephropathy. It will also assess the safety of treatment with PL-56.
Dental implants (screws for fastening false teeth) have been coated with bisphosphonates (drugs that slow down removal of bone). Patients get one such screw and one without coating, by a surgeon who does not know which is which. The screws are compared by measuring how well fixed they are by a vibration measuring technique, and x-rays. The hypothesis is that the bisphosphonates will improve fixation.
This clinical trial is designed to provide additional information on the safety and tolerability of vildagliptin (50 mg once daily (qd)) when used in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and moderate or severe renal insufficiency
This study evaluated the efficacy (blood pressure lowering effect) and safety of aliskiren/amlodipine/hydrochlorothiazide in patients with moderate to severe hypertension.
The primary objective of this 6 month open-label extension trial is to evaluate long-term safety and tolerability of dalteparin in treatment of chronic neuroischaemic foot ulcers in diabetic patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD) and peripheral neuropathy.
Patients with a history of colorectal cancer and known or suspected liver metastases who are scheduled for contrast-enhanced tomographic imaging will be included in this study. After randomization to either Primovist-enhanced MRI, extracellular contrast media (ECCM)-enhanced MRI or contrast-enhanced (CE)-CT outcomes and resource needs of the diagnostic work-up and treatment will be evaluated for each of the three imaging modalities. Main objectives of the study are to assess the proportion of patients for whom further imaging is required to come to a therapy decision and to evaluate the proportion of patients with intraoperatively modified surgical plans after Primovist-enhanced MRI as compared to ECCM-enhanced MRI and CE-CT.
The main aim of this study is to see if giving LDX to children and adolescents aged 6-17 years with ADHD decreases symptoms of ADHD.
