This is a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled withdrawal and rescue/restoration study in subjects with endogenous Cushing's Syndrome (CS) previously treated with single-arm, open-label levoketoconazole that will assess efficacy, safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of levoketoconazole.
The study is primarily designed to assess the safety and tolerability of escalating oral doses of Debio 1143 and preliminary anti-tumour activity when combined with the standard dose of avelumab in participants with advanced solid malignancies.
The study compares 2 medicines for type 2 diabetes: fast-acting insulin aspart (a new medicine) and NovoRapid®/NovoLog® (a medicine doctors can already prescribe). Fast-acting insulin aspart will be tested to see how well it works and if it is safe. Participants will get either fast-acting insulin aspart or NovoRapid®/ NovoLog® - which treatment you get is decided by chance. Both medicines will be taken together with insulin degludec. Participants will need to take 1 injection 4 times every day (all insulins will be provided in pens). The study will last for about 8 months (34 weeks).
Maternal high blood pressure remodels the intrauterine environment of the fetus by altering hormonal and cellular signaling patterns and, as a result increases the risk of fetal and neonatal mortality and morbidity. Newborns of these mothers have an increased risk of intrauterine growth restriction, premature birth and hematological abnormalities, such as thrombocytopenia, polycythemia, and neutropenia. The purpose of the article is to review neonatal thrombocytopenia and neutropenia as a consequence of maternal high blood pressure and to establish the optimal management of these cases.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of treatment withdrawal compared to continued treatment with golimumab (GLM) administered by subcutaneous (SC) injection on the incidence of a "flare" in non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis over up to 12 months. The primary hypothesis is that continued treatment with golimumab is superior to treatment withdrawal, based on the percentage of subjects without a "flare" during up to 12 months of blinded therapy.

The goal of asthma treatment is to achieve and maintain asthma control and to reduce the future risk of exacerbations. Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) are considered as the most effective anti- inflammatory treatment for all severities of persistent asthma. For children >=5 years of age and adolescents whose asthma is uncontrolled, low-dose ICS plus adjunctive therapy with long-acting beta agonist (LABA) is considered as effective. Thus, this study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of FF (ICS component)/VI (LABA component) compared to FF alone for the treatment of asthma, in subjects aged 5 to 17 years old currently uncontrolled on ICS. The study will be conducted over a total duration of approximately 29 weeks: 4 week run-in period, 24-week double-blind treatment period and 1-week follow-up period. Subjects will be randomized to receive FDC of FF/VI or FF administered via ELLIPTA® dry powder inhaler (DPI). The dose of both FF/VI and FF alone will be selected based on the age of subjects. Subjects will receive a short acting beta 2 agonist (SABA) (albuterol /salbutamol) as a rescue medication throughout the study. A total of 870 subjects will be randomized in the study. Primary Objective: To demonstrate the superiority of Sotagliflozin 200 milligrams (mg) and Sotagliflozin 400 mg versus placebo on HbA1c reduction at 26 Weeks in participants with Type 2 diabetes who have inadequate glycemic control and moderate renal impairment.
