There are about 3133 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Romania. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary purpose of this study is to determine if duloxetine 60 mg once daily (QD) reduces pain severity in patients with osteoarthritis (OA) knee pain compared with placebo.
This 2 arm study investigated the efficacy and safety of the addition of bevacizumab to the current standard of care (multimodality therapy of concurrent radiotherapy plus temozolomide followed by adjuvant temozolomide) as compared to the current standard of care alone. Participants were randomly assigned to either the bevacizumab (10 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) intravenously [IV] once every 2 week [q2w]) or the placebo arm, in combination with radiation therapy (total dose 60 Gray [Gy], administered as 2 Gy fractions, 5 days/week) plus temozolomide (75 milligrams per meter squared [mg/m^2] oral administration [po] daily) for 6 weeks. After a 4 week treatment break, participants continued to receive bevacizumab (10 mg/kg IV q2w) or placebo, plus temozolomide (150-200 mg/m^2 po daily on days 1-5 of each 4 week cycle) for 6 cycles of maintenance treatment or until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity, whichever occured first. Following the maintenance phase, bevacizumab (15 mg/kg iv every 3 weeks [q3w]) or placebo monotherapy continued. The time on study treatment was until disease progression.

The primary purpose of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability of SRT2104 (0.25, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 g/day) in type 2 diabetic subjects when administered once daily for 28 consecutive days, and to characterize the pharmacokinetic profile of SRT2104 after a single dose and multiple administrations in type 2 diabetic subjects. The secondary purpose of this study is to determine the effect of SRT2104 (0.25, 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 g/day) when administered once daily for 28 consecutive days on fasting blood glucose and insulin and post-prandial blood glucose and insulin in type 2 diabetic subjects.
Eligible participants, who participated in the ADAGIO trial and who sign an approved informed consent form, will be enrolled into the study at their original study locations. participants who have stopped rasagiline therapy and in the opinion of the investigator will gain clinical benefit from restarting treatment can also be considered for enrollment in the Core follow-up study period. Use of any other anti-PD treatment is permitted as deemed necessary by the treating physician (according to the participants clinical status).
Randomized, double blind study comparing the efficacy of pegylated interferon-alfa2a plus placebo versus pegylated interferon-alfa2a plus tenofovir for the treatment of chronic delta hepatitis. 70 Patients will be randomized 1:1 into the two groups. Treatment duration: 96 weeks. Follow-up: 24 weeks. Long-term-follow-up: until week 358.
Surveillance of efficacy and safety of drug PRITOR in patieNts with arterial hypertension, who do not tolerate ACE inhibitoR treatment
For each patient, an initial visit and at least one follow-up visit at the end of treatment should be documented by the treating physician in the case report form.
The primary objective of this trial is to demonstrate that the fixed-dose combination of T80/HCTZ25 is superior as first line therapy in reducing seated trough cuff Systolic Blood Pressure(SBP) compared to the monotherapy of T80 in patients with grade 2 or grade 3 hypertension (SBP>=160 mmHg and Diastolic Blood Pressure(DBP)>=100 mmHg).
The purpose of this study is to determine whether once monthly (QM) dosing of darbepoetin alfa is non-inferior to that of once every 2 week (Q2W) dosing of darbepoetin alfa for the correction of anemia in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease who are not receiving dialysis.
