There are about 2459 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in New Zealand. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to explore the safety and tolerability of multiple doses of ASKP1240 compared to placebo and determine Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics in subjects with moderate to severe psoriasis.
This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of 3 dosing regimens of MEMP1972A in patients with allergic asthma who remain inadequately controlled on chronic therapy with high dose inhaled corticosteroids and a second controller medication.Patients will be randomized to 4 Arms to receive subcutaneous repeating dose of either MEMP1972A 150 mg, 300 mg, or 450 mg, or placebo. Patients will continue their usual asthma medication throughout the study. Anticipated time on study treatment is 36 weeks, with a 48-week follow-up.
The purpose of this study is to estimate efficacy, as determined by the proportion of subjects with Sustained virologic response at post-treatment Week 12 (SVR12), defined as Hepatitis C virus (HCV) Ribonucleic acid (RNA) < Limit of quantitation (LOQ) at post-treatment Week 12, for subjects who are prior null or partial responders to P/R or who are treatment-naive.
To study the early safety and performance of the Shockwave Medical System in subjects to demonstrate that the device can safely and effectively deliver localized energy for the treatment of vascular disease.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the dose response, efficacy and safety of 4 different doses of fluticasone propionate (50, 100, 200, and 400mcg) delivered as Fluticasone Spiromax® Inhalation Powder (Fp Spiromax) when administered twice daily in subjects 12 years of age and older with severe persistent asthma who are uncontrolled on high dose ICS therapy.
The purpose of this study is to determine if treatment with romosozumab is effective in preventing fractures in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis
Non-treatment extension to study A3051123, aimed at collecting data on cardiovascular safety for all participants in the A3051123 trial for an additional 28 weeks, allowing for a total of 52 weeks of cardiovascular safety data collection.
The purpose of this Phase III study is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of two fixed-dose combinations of inhaled aclidinium bromide/formoterol fumarate, aclidinium bromide, formoterol fumarate and placebo in patients with moderate to severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Long-term efficacy, pharmacoeconomic and health-related quality of life assessments will also be evaluated. This extension study will include a 28 week treatment period, followed by a four week follow up visit. All patients will remain in the same treatment group as for the lead-in study and continue on one of the four treatment arms or placebo.
The primary objective of this study was to compare progression-free survival in patients with multiple myeloma who relapsed after 1 to 3 prior therapies treated with carfilzomib plus dexamethasone or bortezomib plus dexamethasone.
This multicenter, two-cohort, non-randomized, open-label study will evaluate the safety and tolerability of assisted and self-administered SC Herceptin as adjuvant therapy in participants with early HER2-positive breast cancer following tumor excision. Participants will receive Herceptin 600 milligrams (mg) SC every 3 weeks for 18 cycles, either by an assisted administration using a conventional syringe and needle/vial formulation (Cohort A) or with assisted and self-administration using a single-use injection device (SID) in selected participants (Cohort B).
