The AC-055-302/SERAPHIN study will be an event-driven Phase III study, comparing two different doses of macitentan (ACT-064992) (3 and 10 mg) vs placebo in patients with symptomatic PAH. The main study objective is to demonstrate that macitentan (ACT-064992) prolongs time to the first morbidity or mortality event, and to evaluate the benefit/risk profile of macitentan (ACT-064992) in the treatment of patients with symptomatic PAH.

This expanded access study is designed to provide RAD001 to patients with MRCC who are without satisfactory treatment alternatives, until RAD001 becomes commercially available.
As docetaxel is proven to be effective in late stages of prostate cancer with a large tumour burden it should be effective in primarily treated intermediate and high risk prostate cancer as an adjuvant treatment after radiotherapy to prevent early relapse. This will therefore be tested in a randomised phase III trial where patients will be randomized either to docetaxel or surveillance
We wish to improve the swallowing function of patients with advanced cancer of the oesophagus, by carrying out a randomised clinical study in which we compare primary stenting followed by brachytherapy in the stent, 8 G x 3 with standard brachytherapy 8 Gy x 3. The aim of the study is to investigate whether patients who receive a stent followed by brachytherapy have a better swallowing function without more pain at week +2,compared to patients who receive brachytherapy alone.
The purpose of this study is to compare Supervised Exercises with another non-operative frequently used treatment, Radial Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (rESWT), for patients with subacromial impingement syndrome.
