Albumin in the urine is usually a signal that you might be at risk of cardiovascular complications. The purpose of this study is to determine if the albumin in your urine can be decreased by the treatment regimen that consists of irbesartan taken at the same time with ramipril.

NCT ID: NCT00095238 Completed - Clinical trials for Congestive Heart Failure

Irbesartan in Heart Failure With Preserved Systolic Function (I-Preserve)

Start date: June 2002
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this clinical research study is to learn if Irbesartan is superior to placebo in reducing mortality and cardiovascular morbidity in subjects with heart failure with preserved systolic function. The safety of this treatment will also be studied.

NCT ID: NCT00095173 Completed - Clinical trials for Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis

BMS-188667 in Children and Adolescents With Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis

Start date: February 2004
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary purpose of the clinical research study is to assess the safety of treating children and juvenile subjects with BMS-188667 (Abatacept). In addition, the study will assess the effectiveness of BMS-188667 in reducing disease activity of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) or Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) as measured by the time to occurrence of disease flare.

NCT ID: NCT00095147 Completed - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

Abatacept and Infliximab in Combination With Methotrexate in Subjects With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Start date: February 2005
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this clinical research study is to learn if Abatacept or Infliximab in combination with Methotrexate demonstrate a greater reduction in disease activity over placebo.

NCT ID: NCT00095030 Completed - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

Study Comparing Muraglitazar With Glimepiride in Type 2 Diabetics Who Are Not Controlled With Metformin Alone

Start date: February 2004
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this clinical research study is to learn whether a muraglitazar-metformin combination is at least as effective as a glimepiride-metformin combination to treat type 2 diabetics who are not sufficiently controlled with metformin alone. The safety of this treatment will also be studied.

NCT ID: NCT00094640 Completed - Schizophrenia Clinical Trials

Pharmacokinetic Characterization of Intramuscular Olanzapine Depot

Start date: n/a
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The goals of this study are to: Determine the blood levels of intramuscular (IM) olanzapine depot in patients at different points in time after an injection, and compare these levels to the amount of olanzapine in the blood of patients after treated by oral administration with Zyprexa (olanzapine) tablets or by intramuscular administration with Zyprexa IntraMuscular (olanzapine for injection).

NCT ID: NCT00094029 Approved for marketing - Clinical trials for Gastrointestinal Neoplasm

A Treatment Protocol for Patients With Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) Who May Derive Benefit From Treatment With SU011248

Start date: September 2004
Phase: N/A
Study type: Expanded Access

The purpose of this study is to permit access to SU011248 for treatment use by patients with GIST given the following conditions: a) patients undergo screening, but are not eligible for participation in ongoing clinical studies such as A6181004; AND b) patients have GIST which standard treatments have not been able to control with acceptable toxicity AND c) patients have the potential to derive clinical benefit from treatment with SU011248.

This study will assess the safety and pharmacokinetics of Valcyte syrup in pediatric solid organ transplant recipients. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months and the target sample size is less than 100 individuals.

NCT ID: NCT00090753 Completed - Anemia Clinical Trials

A Study of Intravenous or Subcutaneous Methoxy Polyethylene Glycol-Epoetin Beta (RO0503821, Mircera) in Chronic Kidney Disease Patients With Renal Anemia

Start date: October 2004
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study assessed the long-term efficacy, safety, and tolerability of intravenous (iv) or subcutaneous (sc) methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta in chronic kidney disease patients with renal anemia. Eligible patients were those who were receiving stable maintenance therapy with methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta or erythropoiesis stimulating agents (ESAs) in Phase II or III clinical studies. They continued to receive methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta or comparator ESAs at the same weekly dose and by the same route of administration (sc or iv) as in the qualifying studies.
