Walking Study for Stroke Rehabilitation

The primary purpose of this study is to determine the effects of reinforcement of walking speed on recovery of walking speed over the course of inpatient rehabilitation for people after stroke. The study will also examine the relationship between short distance walking speed and walking distance over a fixed time.

The objectives of this study are to assess the efficacy and safety of long-term intermittent therapy with 60 mg MCI-186 to ALS patients.

Currently, patients in Japan can only use 25 mg etanercept two times a week. If a once-a-week regimen of 50 mg is approved, this would be more convenient for most patients. This once-weekly regimen is used in countries outside of Japan.
