NCT ID: NCT03915951 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

An Open-label Study of Encorafenib + Binimetinib in Patients With BRAFV600-mutant Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: June 4, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, multicenter, non-randomized, Phase 2 study to determine the safety, tolerability and efficacy of encorafenib given in combination with binimetinib in patients with BRAFV600E-mutant metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Patients who are either treatment-naïve, OR who have received 1) first-line treatment with standard platinum-based chemotherapy, OR 2) first-line treatment with an anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)/programmed cell death protein ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitor given alone or in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy will be enrolled.

NCT ID: NCT03915665 Completed - Clinical trials for Peri-implant Mucositis

Non-surgical Treatment of Peri-implant Mucositis

Start date: April 15, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This a Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial comparing two techniques for the nonsurgical treatment of peri-implant mucositis. The main objective of the present randomized controlled clinical trial is to determine whether the application of a novel treatment strategy for peri-implant mucositis could lead to significantly improved clinical parameters as compared to standard treatment. Half of the patients receives treatment with manual instruments and chlorhexidine gel 1%, half receives treatment with submucosal biofilm removal by erythritol powder.

NCT ID: NCT03915366 Active, not recruiting - Tuberculosis Clinical Trials

Empirical Treatment Against Cytomegalovirus and Tuberculosis in HIV-infected Infants With Severe Pneumonia

EMPIRICAL
Start date: March 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This trial will evaluate whether empirical treatment against cytomegalovirus and tuberculosis improves survival of HIV-infected infants with severe pneumonia.

NCT ID: NCT03914820 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Colorectal Neoplasms

Prophylactic Surgery Plus HIPEC With CO2 in Patients Affected by Colorectal Carcinoma. CHECK Study.

CHECK
Start date: June 19, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase III randomized, multicenter study with two different arm: - experimental: prophylactic surgery plus HIPEC CO2 performed with mitomycin - comparator: standard surgery Adjuvant treatment after surgery is mandatory except for documented cases of non-eligibility. Patient will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio. Randomization will be done during surgery if the total resection of tumour will be reached and will use a stratification procedure based on center

NCT ID: NCT03914586 Recruiting - Sepsis Clinical Trials

The Membrane Adsorbing OXiris Filter in Septic Patients With AKI

MOSAKI
Start date: January 10, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Patients with Sepsis / Septic Shock and AKI are submitted to Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy with the oXiris filter . The pro- inflammatory mediators , the endotoxin , interleukin 10 , the main cardiorespiratory indices and renal parameters are evaluated at the entry of the study and at the end of the treatment.

NCT ID: NCT03914326 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

A Heart Disease Study of Semaglutide in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes

SOUL
Start date: June 17, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The researchers are doing this study to look whether the type 2 diabetes medicine, semaglutide, has a positive effect on heart disease. Participants will either get semaglutide tablets or placebo tablets ("dummy" medicine) - which treatment is decided by chance. Participants must take one tablet with water every morning on an empty stomach and not eat or drink anything for at least 30 minutes. The study will last for about 3.5-5 years. Participants will have up to 25 clinic visits and 1 phone call with the study doctor. Women cannot be in the study if pregnant, breast-feeding or if they plan to become pregnant during the study period.

NCT ID: NCT03914313 Completed - Cognition Disorders Clinical Trials

Robotics Plus VR in Improving Cognition

Start date: April 23, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Stroke can be classified as ischemic, i.e. due to the lack of blood flow, and haemorrhagic, caused by bleeding. Stroke results in focal signs and symptoms, with a devastating impact on a patient and his family. Although robotic rehabilitation is very useful in improving motor function, there is no a clear evidence on its role in improving cognitive abilities, which are often compromised in stroke patients. To this end, the investigators designed a randomized controlled experimental study on stroke patients, with the aim of evaluating the effects of robotic neurorehabilitation using Lokomat with and without virtual reality on cognitive functioning in stroke patients, compared to traditional therapy.

NCT ID: NCT03914040 Not yet recruiting - Healthy Aging Clinical Trials

Effectiveness of Interprofessional Learning and Simulation on Healthy Aging in Undergraduate Medical and Nursing Program

Start date: October 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Aging population is an important public health issue and require coordinated and comprehensive response. Medical and nursing schools need to address challenges in health care delivery, and interprofessional simulation-based education (IPSE) provides realistic learning experiences in which interprofessional communication, roles and teamwork can be developed and assessed. The study aims to examine the effectiveness of delivering an IPSE program versus traditional course to nursing and medical students. The primary outcome is improved communication skills, assessed by Communication Skill Attitude Scale (CSAS) divided in two subscales: Positive Attitude Scale (PAS) and Negative Attitude Scale (NAS).

NCT ID: NCT03913910 Recruiting - Perianal Fistula Clinical Trials

Perianal Fistula Treatment With Autologous Adipose Tissue Injection

Start date: February 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study aims to evaluate the efficacy of the local injection of autologous micro-fragmented adipose tissue obtained with the Lipogems®system in patients with trans-sphincteric fistulas untreatable with fistulotomy.

NCT ID: NCT03913832 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease
