Study type: Interventional

Hormone preparations like REKOVELLE and GONAL-F are used to make the body produce multiple egg sacs, allowing more eggs to be collected from women undergoing infertility treatment. The main purpose of this trial is to see how many eggs are produced with a starting dose of 15 µg REKOVELLE compared to a starting dose of 225 IU GONAL-F. This research is intended to provide more knowledge about REKOVELLE, including the doses given in the trial.

This is a randomized, open-label, parallel-arm study to investigate the efficacy and safety of pamrevlumab in patients with documented SARS-CoV-2 infection. The study consists of screening, a treatment period, and a follow-up period. The study will enroll patients who have been hospitalized and who are not currently on invasive mechanical ventilation. The treatment period is open ended, and patients will be randomized to treatment with pamrevlumab or standard of care in a 1:1 ratio according to a pre-generated randomization list. Pamrevlumab dosing, 30 mg/kg IV, will be administered at day 1, day 7 and day 14. Based on Investigator's decision, treatment may be continued every 3 weeks after day 14, up to 11 weeks. A follow-up by visit or phone call will be performed 8 and 12 weeks after the end of the last dose of treatment. The treatment period for an individual patient will not exceed 11 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT05260203 Completed - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

MargheRITA (Remote Intelligence for Therapeutic Adherence)

MargheRITA
Start date: June 4, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

It is essential to improve clinical efficiency and management of hematological and oncological patients treated on an outpatient basis. The most promising operative way to achieve this result is the development of tele-oncology platforms, that allow not only a telemedicine visit, but also the patient support in the daily management of the disease and related disorders, as well as treatments and their complications. In this perspective, the RITA communication platform should be able to support the patient, the caregiver, the physician and the general practitioner in the management of the disease and its treatments.

NCT ID: NCT05254288 Completed - Clinical trials for Periodontal Diseases

In-office and Domiciliary Use of a New Ozonized Gel for the Management of Periodontal Disease

Start date: March 22, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of non-surgical periodontal therapy with supportive home oral care for the treatment of periodontal disease. Patients with bilateral periodontal pathological sites will undergo professional dental hygiene with ultrasonic handpiece (Piezon EMS with PerioSlim inserts) followed by manual instrumentation with Gracey curettes and application of erythritol Airflow powders. Then, patients will be randomly divided into two groups according to a split-mouth design: the Control Group will undergo a split-mouth application of chlorhexidine gel 1% for quadrants 1/3 (or 2/4), while for the Trial Group Ozoral Pro for quadrants 2/4 (or 1/3) will be used. Patients will use the products at home with one daily application for the following 14 days after the visits. The Trial Group will use Ozoral Gel for home applications. The following indexes will be assessed at baseline, T1 (1 month), T2 (3 months) and T3 (6 months): recession, PPD, BoP %, CAL, PCR %. Contextually, the application of the two gels will be performed.
