Study for Participants With Ulcerative Colitis Previously Enrolled in Etrolizumab Phase II/III Studies

This two-part, part 1: open-label extension (OLE) and part 2: safety monitoring (SM) study will examine the efficacy and safety of continued etrolizumab treatment in moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (UC) participants previously enrolled in etrolizumab Phase II/III studies. Participants with moderate to severe UC who were enrolled in the Phase II OLE study (GA27927 [NCT01461317]) or the Phase III studies (GA28948 [NCT02163759], GA28949 [NCT02171429], GA28950 [NCT02100696], GA29102 [NCT02165215], and GA29103 [NCT02136069]) were included. Participants from the Phase II OLE study or the Phase III studies who are not eligible or willing to receive etrolizumab in the OLE-SM study, and who have completed the 12-week safety follow-up period will be enrolled in Part 2. Part 1 of OLE-SM will continue for up to 9 years after the first participant is enrolled into the study. Following Part 1, participants will enter Part 2 for a period of 92 weeks.

Plasma Injections Plus Exercise for Patellar Tendinopathy

This is a randomized controlled clinical trial to investigate the effectiveness, safety and tolerability of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections for treatment of patellar tendinopathy in adults 18-50 years of age. Subjects will be randomly assigned to three parallel treatment groups: 1. Leukocyte-rich PRP injection + exercise 2. Leukocyte-poor PRP injection + exercise 3. Saline injection + exercise (control) Primary endpoints are (1) the number (rate) and severity of adverse events as reported by both patients and study physicians during the first 12 weeks after initiation of treatment, (2) patient-rated tolerability of treatment; (3) the change in function (VISA score) and treatment success (global improvement scale) over six months of a post-injection exercise protocol.

In the present study we propose to determine AMH levels in breast cancer patients, aged <40yrs receiving adjuvant chemotherapy and ovarian suppression by means of GnRHa with the aim to assess the role of AMH as surrogate marker of the preservation of ovarian reserve exerted by GnRHa.

The secondary objective of this study includes the assessment of the efficacy of ataluren, as measured by forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) and pulmonary exacerbation rate, and other safety parameters (for example, 12-lead electrocardiogram [ECG] measurements, vital signs).

Possible Use of Rotigotine in Subjects 70 Years and Older With Late Onset of Disease

This exploratory trial will fulfill a medical data gap for the dopamine-agonist rotigotine, as so far no data on elderly population is available. Primary objective: To assess efficacy and safety of rotigotine in patients with late onset Parkinson's Disease (PD), starting at age 70 or later, on motor symptoms. Secondary objective: To assess efficacy and safety of rotigotine in patients with late onset Parkinson's Disease (PD), starting at age 70 or later, on selected non motor symptoms : sleep quality; depression; cognitive function. Subjects ≥70 years, with diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease (PD) based on the presence of at least two of three cardinal features (bradykinesia, resting tremor, rigidity), within 12 months since diagnosis and no longer than 12 months from onset to diagnosis, and for whom the caring physician is uncertain on whether or not to start treatment. Outcome Measurement: Percentage of Responders to treatment in motor (part III) and Activities of daily living (ADL) (part II) components of Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) at visit 4 and 6; Percentage of Responders to treatment in sleep quality in relation to Parkinson's Disease Sleep Scale (PDSS)-2 at visit 4 and 6; Responders to treatment in mood in relation to Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) at visit 4 and 6. Exploratory, randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled study: 80 patients with late onset Parkinson's Disease (PD) are randomized in 2 parallel groups, ratio 1:1. One group will be treated with rotigotine and one group will be treated with placebo, for 12 weeks after titration.

OnabotulinumtoxinA for the Treatment of Urinary Incontinence Due to Overactive Bladder in Pediatric Patients (12 to 17)

This was a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel-group, multiple-dose study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of BOTOX in adolescents with urinary incontinence due to overactive bladder (OAB) with inadequate management with anticholinergic therapy. Participants were randomized in a 1:1:1 ratio to receive a single Tx of 25 U, 50 U, or 100 U BOTOX (not to exceed 6 U/kg) on Day 1, were seen after each treatment at Weeks 2, 6, and 12 post-treatment, and thereafter at alternating telephone and clinic visits every 6 weeks until they qualified for further retreatment/exited the study. Participants could receive multiple treatments dependent upon the number and timing of patient requests/qualification for retreatment. At each retreatment the investigator could keep the dose the same or increase it one dose level in a blinded fashion. Participants exited the study once 96 weeks have elapsed since entry on Day 1 and at least 12 weeks follow-up since their last study treatment had occurred.
