The goal of the PROMUS™ Element™ Everolimus-Eluting Coronary Stent System European Post- Approval Surveillance Study is to evaluate real world clinical outcomes data for the PROMUS™ Element™ Coronary Stent System in unselected patients in routine clinical practice.
The surgical treatment of vulvar cancer is characterized by a radical approach as standard, often associated to an important rate of functional complications. This surgery often includes the partial excision of urethra, resulting in a reduction of urethral closure pressure. The radiotherapy-induced fibrosis in addiction leads to a reduction of urethral mobility. As consequence women treated for vulvar cancer may develop urinary incontinence. The incidence of this complication has been differently reported, but seems to reach the 100%. Poor data are available regarding the treatment of post vulvectomy urinary incontinence and no clear indication may be given at regards. Based on these considerations the aim of this trial will be to compare tension free vaginal tape and bulking agent injection in women with urinary stress incontinence developed after radical surgery for vulvar cancer.

The present study is a randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled, two-Phase, sequential cohort, dose finding study to assess the safety and efficacy of eltrombopag in patients with solid tumors receiving gemcitabine monotherapy or the combination of gemcitabine plus carboplatin or cisplatin. Phase I of the study will examine safety and tolerability of various doses of eltrombopag to identify a dose and schedule of eltrombopag. Phase II will confirm that the chosen dose and schedule of eltrombopag from Phase I can deliver clinically meaningful benefit(s) to thrombocytopenic patients by improving platelet numbers.
Primary Objective: - To demonstrate that lixisenatide can reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality [composite endpoint of cardiovascular (CV) death, non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI), non-fatal stroke, hospitalization for unstable angina] compared to placebo in type 2 diabetic patients who recently experienced an acute coronary syndrome (ACS) event. Secondary Objectives: To demonstrate that when compared to placebo, lixisenatide can reduce: - composite endpoint of cardiovascular death, non-fatal MI, non-fatal stroke, hospitalization for unstable angina, or hospitalization for heart failure - composite endpoint of cardiovascular death, non-fatal MI, non-fatal stroke, hospitalization for unstable angina, hospitalization for heart failure, or coronary revascularization procedure - urinary albumin excretion (based on the urinary albumin/creatinine ratio). To assess the safety and tolerability of lixisenatide.

Main Study: Primary Objective: Assess the long term safety of sarilumab in participants with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Secondary Objective: Assess the long term efficacy of sarilumab in participants with RA. Sub-Study: This phase 3, open label sub-study was aimed to assess the usability of PFS-S when used by participants with moderate or severe RA, or their professional or non-professional healthcare providers in an unsupervised real-world situation. To mimic the real-world practice, the sub-study was incorporated into the LTS11210 study without additional visits compared to the scheduled visits in the main study. The duration of this sub-study was 12 weeks.
Compared with bare metal stents (BMS), both paclitaxel-eluting stents (PES) and sirolimus-eluting stents (SES) significantly reduce angiographic restenosis and the need for repeat revascularization in coronary arteries across a broad range of patient and lesion types. However the increased risk of very late stent thrombosis represents a major concern for patients treated with both PES and SES. Optical coherence tomography (OCT), a new imaging technique based on the back reflection of near infrared light, enables real-time, full tomographic, in-vivo visualization of coronary vessel microstructure. Struts coverage and vessel response of drug eluting stent (DES) compared to BMS are the most immediate clinical applications of OCT. Thickness of coverage and strut apposition can be quantified at micron-scale level with a resolution 10-30 times higher than conventional intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). The objective of this study OCTEVEREST (Optical Coherence Tomography for EVERolimus Eluting STent) is to evaluate the long term struts coverage and vessel wall response (abnormal intraluminal defects, strut malapposition, vessel expansions) to the PROMUS™ Everolimus Eluting Stent compared to PROMUS ELEMENT™ Everolimus Eluting Stent implanted for the treatment of stenosis in native coronaries. To investigate the completeness of struts coverage as well as the proportion of malapposed struts and the neointima characteristics, high resolution (~ 10 µ axial) intracoronary Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and intravascular coronary ultrasound (IVUS) will be used.
The first study with rivaroxaban in pediatric subjects is a Phase I study, where the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) profile of rivaroxaban will be investigated to confirm that the exposure is comparable to adults. This study is a single dose study with multiple PK/PD measurements in pediatric subjects at the end of their Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) treatment.
