There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of gevokizumab in the treatment of active non-infectious intermediate, posterior, or pan- uveitis.
A pilot study of mapping the peripheral plasma micro-RNA and proteomics patterns in depressive patients, treated with SSRI medications. It is an observational clinical bio-markers laboratory controlled research with no device. The research includes two groups; one for patients diagnosed of having depression, and will get a standard SSRI medication regimen. Second group is for control subjects without depression. An option for a third group is planned to include first degree relatives of the depressed patients. After giving their informed consents, subjects and patients will go through standard clinical psychiatric interview, and routine clinical lab tests. Clinical standard, specific depression and anxiety questionnaires will be held at four follow-up meetings: at start; after 2 weeks; 4 weeks; and 10 weeks. Subjects and patients will be asked to give blood samples at these points of time for the lab processing: Complete plasma proteomics and specific micro-RNA levels.
This is a double-blind , randomized, controlled, two-arm study aiming to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Polyheal-2 vs PolyHeal, in once daily application as compared to historical control. The study will enroll adult subjects with post traumatic/post surgical, venus insufficiency and diabetic hard to heal wounds who meet the entrance criteria which will be followed for 12 weeks.
The purpose of this study is to assess the therapeutic potential and safety/tolerability of study drug (CYT003) at 3 dose levels versus placebo in patients with persistent moderate to severe allergic asthma not sufficiently controlled on current standard controller therapy. Altogether 360 patients randomized to 4 treatment groups will be included. The study compares three dose strength with placebo. Each patient receives 7 injections of study drug or undistinguishable placebo. Key outcome measures are patient reported parameters on their asthma.
Colorectal cancer patients with metastases (mCRC) at response under expensive chemotherapy which may be toxic +/- exhausting are candidates for an effective and more convenient maintenance treatment. Objectives: 1. To define the efficacy of maintenance chemotherapy by a low-dose metronomic (LDM) regimen, in metastatic CRC patients responding under FOLFIRI + bevacizumab. 2. To discover predictive factors for response to this LDM regimen. Hypothesis: 1. The re-growth of residual metastases can be slowed by the anti-angiogenic effects of LDM chemotherapy. 2. Serial measurements of angiogenic/ inflammatory factors in the plasma and/or evaluation of certain enzymes in the tumor may discover predictive factors of response to LDM chemotherapy in metastatic CRC patients.
The purpose of this study is to provide continued access of ixazomib and/or other study medications and to continue collecting relevant safety data to monitor participant's safety, determine whether dexamethasone plus IXAZOMIB improves hematologic response, 2-year vital organ (that is, heart or kidney) deterioration and mortality rate versus a physician's choice of a chemotherapy regimen in participants diagnosed with relapsed or refractory systemic light chain (AL) amyloidosis.
To investigate the effects of lymphatic drainage massage performed immediately after total knee replacement in relation to reduction of limb circumference, pain reduction and functional improvement.
To study the safety and effectiveness of multiple-doses of tralokinumab on pulmonary function in adults with mild to moderate idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). IPF is a chronic, progressive, irreversible, and usually fatal lung disease of unknown cause.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate no excess risk of cardiovascular (CV) composite events exists following long term treatment with TAK-875 compared with placebo.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of topical R1 and R2 for prophylaxis of acute radiation dermatitis in patients with breast cancer receiving radiotherapy.
