There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this controlled, randomized intervention is to investigate whether a carbohydrate-restricted diet, having a positive effect on blood sugar and weigh maintaining in diabetes, is effective and safe for pregnant woman with GDM and safe for their offspring, when compared to the standard carbohydrate content diet.
The purpose of this study is to further establish safety and efficacy of the BQ EMF treatment of chronic SCI subjects who demonstrate stability in The Graded and Redefined Assessment of Strength, Sensibility and Prehension (GRASSP) strength score following a one-month physical therapy run-in period.
The EpiFinder device, which is the investigational device in this study, is intended for use in epidural procedures, between a luer syringe and an epidural needle, to give the treating physician a clear indication that the needle tip has entered the epidural space. The objective of this First In Human study is to evaluate the safety and performance of using the EpiFinder to identify the epidural space in subjects with a clinical indication to receive a lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections.
Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP's) in connective tissue components are associated with increased risk of pelvic organ prolapse (POP). The investigators expect to find a difference in SNP's frequency between women who had Obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS) and in the healthy population. The fact that pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and OASIS occurs in the same anatomic region and the well-known association between few SNP's and the risk for POP, suggests for a common pathophysiology.
This study evaluated the long-term safety and tolerability of elexacaftor (ELX), tezacaftor (TEZ), and ivacaftor (IVA) triple combination (TC) treatment in participants with cystic fibrosis (CF).
Primary objectives: - Randomization R1, all patients eligible: To examine, whether the cumulative incidence of relapses with involvement of the CNS (CNS relapse, pCICR) can be decreased by a modified induction therapy including dexamethasone (experimental arm) instead of prednisone (standard arm) - Randomization R2, only patients with high risk LBL eligible: to examine, whether the probability of event-free survival (pEFS) in these patients can be improved by receiving an intensified treatment arm versus a standard treatment arm (as used in the EURO-LB 02)
A multi center, open label, prospective study that will include up to 100 subjects with Type 1 Diabetes treated with Multiple Daily Injections (MDI) of insulin according to a predefined sliding scale plan or carbohydrate ratio (CR) and correction factor (CF) plan, and Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose (SMBG) or Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). The study will include screening, a 3-4 weeks run-in period and a 6 weeks intervention period. Subjects will be asked to record their insulin delivery during basal/bolus insulin treatment (using dedicated apps and/or connected pens) and their daily activities (meals, physical activity etc.) using electronic log (implemented on Dedicated Apps), for a total period of 9-10 weeks.
The primary objective is to evaluate the efficacy of monthly 225 mg sc fremanezumab in adult participants with migraine and major depressive disorder (MDD) The secondary objectives are to evaluate the efficacy of monthly 225 mg sc of fremanezumab in adult participants with migraine and MDD on the reduction of MDD symptoms, responder rates in monthly migraine days, improving quality of life, improving disability, and the safety and tolerability of monthly 225 mg sc and quarterly 675 mg sc fremanezumab in adult participants with migraine and MDD. The total duration of participant participation in the study is planned to be approximately 28 weeks.
