Differences in Muscle Activity Patterns and Graphical Product Quality in Children With Graphomotor Impairment

Drawing on a vertical surface, rather than horizontal (such as blackboard) is often used by occupational therapists as a way of developing fine motor control and visual motor integration in children. In healthy children no difference in graphical quality was shown between drawing on vertical or horizontal surfaces. However, this was not investigated in children with graphomotor impairments. The goal of this study is to determine whether movements produced on a vertical surface differ in their performance level and muscle activation patterns compared to movements produced on a horizontal surface. The investigators predict that there would be a difference in the level of performance between the two surfaces.

The Effects of Vibration Therapy as a Recovery Tool After Intense Exercise

High intensity exercise can lead to muscle damage, resulting in muscle soreness, swelling and reduction in muscle strength. If the recovery is not sufficient or efficient it can increase the risk for injury and decrease the ability of the athlete to perform repetitive exercise and maintain overall performance. There are a variety of recovery aids which are being used by athletes, such as: the use of compression garments, massage, cold water immersion, sauna etc. Additional recovery strategy currently growing in popularity is the application of vibration. The evidences regarding the benefits of vibration therapy as a recovery aid are limited, specifically in athlete. Therefore, the proposed study will examine the use of vibration therapy as a recovery tool. The efficacy of this technique will be measure using functional and field tests.

In this study the investigators would like to evaluate how prelabor analgesic plan and actual labor analgesia effects the labor satisfaction, breastfeeding success, and whether or not it reduces postpartum depression. Although postpartum depression has been researched and reviewed, there is little information on how satisfaction during labor affects postpartum outcomes. The relationship between epidural analgesia is also complex, and there has yet to be found a valid correlation between the two parameters. In addition although an attempt has been made to evaluate relationship between breastfeeding and epidural analgesia, results are unclear and further research is needed.

Margetuximab Plus Chemotherapy vs Trastuzumab Plus Chemotherapy in the Treatment of HER2+ Metastatic Breast Cancer

The purpose of this study is to determine whether patients with metastatic breast cancer treated with margetuximab plus chemotherapy have longer progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) than patients treated with trastuzumab plus chemotherapy. A non-randomized sub-study cohort of approximately 88 patients will be enrolled to evaluate the safety of a reduced margetuximab infusion rate in patients receiving margetuximab either as monotherapy or in combination with chemotherapy.
