Minimally-invasive surgery (MIS) techniques have revolutionised the approach to rectal cancer surgery. With increasing experience, surgeons have began to utilise these platforms increasingly in the context of pelvic exenteration (PE). This observational retrospective review plans to assess the volume of PE being performed on a global basis and to assess the comparative outcomes associated with each technique in order to assess the optimal approach to radical pelvic surgery.
The objective of the study is to test the capacity of a five-day supplementation of Turmipure Gold® to improve exercise-induced muscle pain and function recovery in moderately active adults after exercise-induced muscle damage
The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of reldesemtiv versus placebo on functional outcomes in ALS.
Pragmatic, randomised, controlled, parallel-group, superiority trial of ketamine vs. midazolam as an adjunctive therapy for depression. The main purpose of the trial is to assess the mood-rating score difference between ketamine and midazolam from before the first infusion to 24 hours after the final infusion, supplemented by a 95% confidence interval. There will also be a 24-week follow-up after the final infusion session.
This is an open-label, parallel, prospective, randomised control trial evaluating the effect of Continuous Positive airway pressure (CPAP), the standard treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) versus control (diet and lifestyle advice) on dipping status and blood pressure parameters in 100 non-dipper normotensive patients with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea and without established cardiovascular or metabolic disease.

Oral (mouth) symptoms are very common and often bothersome in patients with cancer. The best way to assess these symptoms is using a patient-rated symptom assessment scale. A new symptom assessment scale for oral symptoms has been developed and already tested in patients. The purpose of this study is to test the scale again to make sure it is reliable and accurate.
This is a Phase 1b/2a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK, and PD of intrathecal (IT) WVE-004 in adult patients with C9orf72-associated ALS or FTD. To participate in the study, patients must have a documented mutation (GGGGCC [G4C2] repeat expansion) in the first intronic region of the C9orf72 gene and be diagnosed with ALS or FTD.
The FAST III is a randomized controlled, open-label, multicenter, international, non-inferiority, strategy trial. A total of 2228 participants will be randomized in a 1:1 fashion to either vFFR- or FFR guided revascularization. Patients will be consented prior to the procedure and then followed up to 12 (+1) months after randomization. The primary endpoint is analyzed at 12 months after randomization. Approximately 35 sites in 7 European countries (Netherlands, Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France).
