NCT ID: NCT03333655 Completed - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Study to Explore the Mechanism of Acquired Immune Escape In Participants With Metastatic Cancer Progressing on CPI Therapy

Start date: February 16, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to identify mechanisms associated with acquired immune escape by comparing baseline and at-progression tissue samples from participants who derive clinical benefit from CPI treatment of metastatic cancer or hematologic malignancies.

NCT ID: NCT03333447 Completed - MRI Clinical Trials

Retrospective and Prospective Observational Study of MRI Changes in Bone and Visceral Lesions of Patients With Type 1 Gaucher Disease Treated With VPRIV® (Velaglucerase Alfa)

EIROS
Start date: January 17, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study with standardized reading MRIs, will provide for the first time objective and quantified data on organomegaly (liver and spleen volumes) as well as bone alteration (Bone Marrow Burden11) of French patients treated with VPRIV®. These data will help to better assess the impact of this treatment on these parameters. The result of this study will also answer in part to the request of the French Transparency Commission (CT: Commission de Transparence) of the French National Health Authority to provide them with data of French patients treated with VPRIV®.

NCT ID: NCT03332290 Completed - Ptsd Clinical Trials

Diving for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Dive-Hope
Start date: October 10, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

within the components of Scuba diving there are similarities with meditation and mindfulness techniques. PTSD and emotion dysregulation are known to be involved by meditation training This study evaluates the benefits of scuba diving on quality of life and mindful functioning comparing the benefits of diving training using a clinical trial protocol

NCT ID: NCT03331107 Completed - Nasal Obstruction Clinical Trials

Correlation of the Objective and Subjective Measures of the Nasal Obstruction Before and After Surgery of the Nasal Septum

Start date: December 5, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Nasal obstruction is a very subjective sensation but it's also a frequent reason of consultation. Two specific questionnaire NOSE and RhinoQOL were validated; but rhinomanometry value is still a question to debate. As well as the difference between acoustic rhinometry and rhinomanometry. Usually nasal obstruction due to a septal deviation is treated by septoplasty. If the anatomic result can be proved true, the patient's felt would be unsuccessful. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of septoplasty on the nasal obstruction, objectively by rhinometry and subjectively by questionnaire.

NCT ID: NCT03331068 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

French Validation of the Memorial Anxiety Scale for Patients With Prostate Cancer.

Start date: April 26, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

A specific scale allowing the measure of anxiety of patients with protate cancer has been designed and validated but the French version needs to be validated. This study aims at validating the French translation of this scale.

NCT ID: NCT03330730 Completed - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Evaluation of the Efficiency of the IsereADOM Home-care Service Package in the Prevention of Unplanned Hospitalizations of Patients With Cancer

IsereADOM
Start date: January 11, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of the project is to compare the effectiveness and efficiency of innovative care through the IsereADOM home-care service package versus standard care in the prevention of unplanned hospitalizations in patients with cancer treatment. In accordance with the recommendations of the French High Authority of Health (HAS), a cost-utility analysis (ACU) will be implemented

NCT ID: NCT03330379 Completed - Brain Injuries Clinical Trials

Comparison of Two Strategies for Endotracheal Tube Cuff Underinflation Prevention During Invasive Mechanical Ventilation

CONTIPRESS
Start date: March 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

During invasive mechanical ventilation, maintaining endotracheal tube cuff pressure (Pcuff) around 25 cmH2O is recommended for sealing the upper airways. The continuous control of Pcuff with a simple mechanical device, the Tracoe Smart CuffmanagerTM, has never been assessed. The investigators hypothesize that the Tracoe Smart CuffmanagerTM would allow a reduction of the incidence of underinflation episodes, as compared with the intermittent strategy of Pcuff control.

NCT ID: NCT03330249 Completed - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck

Comparison of Two Concomitant Administration of RT With Cisplatin in Standard Infusion or Fractional Infusion

CisFRad
Start date: December 3, 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The general aim is to compare the cumulative dose of cisplatin administered concomitantly with radiotherapy in reference arm A (cisplatin 100 mg / m2 day 1 every 21 days) and in the experimental arm B (Cisplatin split 25 mg / m2 / J D1 to D4 all 21 days).

NCT ID: NCT03330210 Completed - Atrial Fibrillation Clinical Trials

Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion Guided by 3D Printing

LAA-PrintRegis
Start date: December 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) was approved by the ESC guidelines as a stroke prevention alternative to warfarin for patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation in patients at high risk of bleeding (IIbB). Although the overall LAAC benefice, in term of prevention of stroke or embolisme and decresing the anticoagulant-related risk of bleeding is already demonstrated, however the procedure success and safety, critically depends on understanding LAA anatomy and adequate pre-procedure planning. 3D-printed patient-specific adaptive and flexible LA models have demonstrated in a previous study an improving in LAAO device sizing, a better pre-procedural planning of the optimal trans-septal puncture site, by incorporating all anatomical variations and an improuving patient outcomes by reducing procedure time and number of prostheses employed per patient. This technique is now used in several surgical centers in France and large prospective evaluation of the practice is necessary.
