There are about 36633 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in France. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of DS-1103a combination therapy in patients with advanced solid tumors.
Interventional radiology is developing. Patient information modalities are also evolving, in particular information videos. The aim of this work is therefore the evaluation of patient information in interventional radiology
This is a first-in-human, open label, Phase 1/2 study to investigate the safety and efficacy of TAS3351 in patients with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring an acquired C797S epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation.
The aim of this PROJECT is to develop two biomarkers to assess the thrombotic and hemorrhagic risk of patients with chronic renal failure (CKD) treated with antiplatelet drugs following the occurrence of an acute coronary syndrome (ACS). These biomarkers will help to adapt antiplatelet therapy on an individual basis (intensity, duration of antiplatelet treatment) and thus reduce the risk of thrombotic and hemorrhagic events in this particularly fragile population. The methods for measuring these two highly innovative biomarkers are currently being developed. The first biomarker corresponds to the measurement of an intraplatelet molecule, Rap1b in its active form (aRap1b). The second biomarker is the measurement of the pro-antithrombotic balance of circulating endothelial microvesicles (patEMV), a reflection of endothelial dysfunction. An automated method for biomarker measurement will be developed in partnership with the industrial partners Stago and BioCytex during the project.
The oral cavity is an easily accessible anatomical site that accurately reflects the health of the individual. The mouth is considered an early indicator of biological aging, leading to the identification of oral biomarkers predictive of future alterations. Current data show that the oral health of high level athletes is globally altered with an increase in cariogenic indexes, an increased incidence of periodontitis, dental trauma and dry mouth syndromes. Few studies have focused on the oral microbiota compared to mouthguards used in rugby or boxing which seem to induce dysbiosis, a recent study shows an effect of ketogenic diet on bacterial changes in the mouth of endurance athletes. This project focuses on the impact of intensive sport practice on oral health and the identification of oral biomarkers associated with physical activity. The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of the amount of endurance sport practice on oral microbiota and oral health in young adults. the hypothesis is that a sedentary lifestyle and high-level sport induce depletion and/or changes in the oral microbiota compared to regular physical activity.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate an Integrative Therapy for Adolescent Cannabis Use (TIMCA), integrating elements of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT) and an Attachment-Based Intervention (ABI), (IBA),compared to Treatment As Usual (TAU) on cannabis use. The secondary objectives of the study are: To assess the effectiveness of the TIMCA, in comparison to the TAU, on: (1) Relationship quality with parents, (2) Relationship quality with closest friend, (3) Emotional regulation strategies, (4) Depressive symptomatology, (5) Anxiety symptomatology, (6) Adherence to therapy
The present neuroimaging study investigates cerebral and behavioral markers of spatialization. Spatialization in memory corresponds to a mental representation of successive items from left to right in Westerners. A simple task to detect spatialization consists in presenting a series of stimuli sequentially. All stimuli are centered on the screen, so there is no spatial information during the task. After the presentation of the sequence, there is a recognition phase in which the participant is requested to take a decision as to whether a memory probe belongs to the sequence maintained in memory. The decision is made by pressing a key with the left or the right hand, depending on the instruction. The main measure is the difference in response times between the two hands. The standard spatialization effect in working memory in Westerners is that left-key responses are faster when retrieving the first items of the sequence whereas later items elicit faster right-key responses. To date, the factors that can influence this spatialization process in working memory as well as the brain structures involved remain largely unknown. Participants need to complete three experimental conditions associated with fMRI recording of brain activity. In task A (Visual Spatial), participants will see the sequences presented from left to right; in task B (Visual No Spatial), participants will see sequences of items presented in the middle of the screen; and in task C (Auditory), the sequences will be presented in an auditory format. When comparing tasks, A and B, we will be able to investigate if seeing information from left to right (spatialization is provided through the spatial coordinates of the items) is comparable to spatializing information from left to right (spatialization is not provided, all items have the same spatial coordinates). The comparison between task B and C will allow us to investigate the effect of seeing items (spatialization is not provided, all items have the same spatial coordinates) versus hearing them (spatialization is not provided and items have no spatial coordinates).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of Ruxolitinib cream in participants with Prurigo Nodularis (PN).
Recent clinical trials have proven the cardiovascular benefits of new medications for patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), especially sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. There are no existing randomized clinical trials evaluating the efficacy and safety of dapagliflozin (nor any other SGLT2-inhibitor) to limit cardiac remodeling in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and left ventricular (LV) dysfunction. Preventing cardiac remodeling, an established predictor of subsequent heart failure (HF) and cardiovascular death, is likely to translate into benefit in reducing clinical events in post-MI patients.
3D modeling associated with the tracking of nerve fibers meets the needs of preoperative planning for tumors and cervico-facial congenital malformations. Indeed, these lesions are closely related to the cranial nerves and in particular nerve V (infratemporal fossa), nerve VII (temporal bone, parotido-masseter region), nerves IX, X, XI, XII and the chain cervical sympathetic (infratemporal and cervical regions). The development of a model of this region will therefore improve the surgical management of these children.
