Parkinson's disease is not only a pathology of movements. There are many non-motor symptoms that complicate and impair patients' quality of life. Among those disorders are sleep disorders. Insomnia is the most frequent symptom. Most patients report 2-5 awakenings per night and long periods of awakening which occupy 30 to 40% of their night. Apomorphine is a dopamine agonist that may be administered with a pump . The objective of the study is to assess changes in the quality of sleep in Parkinson's disease patients treated with an apomorphine pump.

Efficacy and Safety of Lanreotide Autogel/ Depot 120 mg vs. Placebo in Subjects With Lung Neuroendocrine Tumours

This is a Phase 3, prospective, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, study evaluating the efficacy and safety of LAN plus BSC versus placebo plus BSC for the treatment of well-differentiated, metastatic and/or unresectable, typical or atypical bronchopulmonary NETs. This study contains two phases: the Double-Blind (DB) Phase, and the Open Label (OL) Phase. The DB Phase includes: Screening, Baseline and Treatment period. The OL Phase will consist of two periods: Treatment Period and Follow-Up Period. The primary objective will be to describe the antitumour efficacy of Lanreotide Autogel/Depot 120 mg (LAN) plus Best Supportive Care (BSC) every 28 days, in terms of progression-free survival (PFS), measured by central review using Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumours (RECIST) v1.1 criteria, every 12 weeks, in subjects randomized to LAN with unresectable and/or metastatic well differentiated, typical or atypical bronchopulmonary neuroendocrine tumours. Recent updates of National Cancer Institute Cancer Network (NCCN) & European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) guidelines recommend SSA in first line for the treatment of locoregional unresectable or metastatic bronchopulmonary NETs as an option beyond 'observation' leading to slow and difficult recruitment in SPINET study. Consequently, it was decided to prematurely stop the recruitment in the SPINET study and to transition all subjects still treated in the double-blind phase to the open label (OL) treatment and follow-up phases following respective country approvals of Amendment #5. The new aim of this Phase 3, multicenter, prospective, randomized placebo-controlled clinical study is to describe the antitumor efficacy and safety of Lanreotide Autogel/Depot 120 mg (LAN) plus Best Supportive Care (BSC) in subjects with well-differentiated, metastatic and/or unresectable, typical or atypical, bronchopulmonary NETs.

Purpose: The investigators team recently carried out a proof of concept study testing the efficacy of one single 45-minute session of 10 Hz TENS prior to walking, versus placebo. In this randomized study, the investigators found that TENS significantly delayed pain onset and increased the pain-free walking distance in patients with class II PAD. From these encouraging results, the investigators now seek to assess the efficacy of an intervention that includes the daily use of TENS for 3 weeks (5 days a week) on walking distance in PAD (Leriche-Fontaine stage II). Methods/Design: prospective multicentre study / randomized controlled trial / double blinding.

Rheumatoid Arthritis patients management reposes primarily on the use of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). Among DMARDs available in 2015, researchers demonstrated the ability to reduce synovitis, biomarkers of inflammation, and bone destruction. Given the demonstration of correlation between joint inflammation and structural progression at each joint level as well as the opportunity for bone remodeling with resolution of joint inflammation, researchers expect to observe an improvement in bone micro-architecture parameters specifically in rheumatoid arthritis patients without remaining joint inflammation 3 months following abatacept treatment initiation.

This is an open-label comparative study in three parallel groups. It is expected that 90 patients and/or healthy volunteers will participate in this biomedical research. Distribution in groups - 30 patients with type 2 diabetes and an indication for treatment with a GLP1 analogue (group 1) - 30 patients with type 2 diabetes (control diabetic subjects) not treated with Incretins (group 2) - 30 healthy subjects (non-diabetics) (group 3) This study will investigate modifications in eating behaviour induced by Liraglutide in patients who start treatment with Victoza® and certain aspects, such as liking (hedonic characteristic of a food), wanting (desire to eat a given food) and salivation in response to the presentation of a food by taking measurements at D0 (before initiation of the treatment with Liraglutide in the group concerned) then at 15 days (except for the controls), 3 months and 9 months (only for controls).
