Treatment of Actinic Keratoses With Photodynamic Therapy Using Sunlight Versus Red Light

Start date: May 2006
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of the study is to evaluate the use of sunlight instead of red light during photodynamic therapy of actinic keratoses using methyl aminolevulinate

NCT ID: NCT00431535 Completed - Surgery Clinical Trials

Study Concerning Relationship Between Mixed Venous Saturation (SvO2) and Balance

Start date: February 2007
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

It is the purpose of the investigators to investigate the possible relationship between fall in the amount of Oxygen in the blood and disturbances of balance-function before and after surgery.

NCT ID: NCT00431132 Completed - Menopause Clinical Trials

Endometrial Safety of a Low Dose of Vagifem® in Postmenopausal Women With Atrophic Vaginitis

Start date: January 2007
Phase: Phase 3

NCT ID: NCT00430924 Completed - Clinical trials for Kidney Failure, Chronic

Inhibition of Aldosterone in Patients With Chronic Renal Disease

Start date: March 2007
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the inhibition of aldosterone will result in lower excretion of protein via urine. The hypothesis is that if loss of protein is lowered, progression of renal disease with be slower than otherwise expected.

NCT ID: NCT00430703 Completed - Clinical trials for Traumatic Brain Injury

Effect of Passive Gait Training on the Cortical Activity in Patients With Severe Traumatic Brain Injury.

Start date: August 2006
Phase: Phase 0
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to determine whether passive gait training increases arousal, demonstrated as changes in EEG (electroencephalogram) activity. Hypotheses: 1) Passive gait training increases EEG-frequency in patients with impaired consciousness due to severe traumatic brain injury. 2) Passive gait training increases conductivity speed of the cognitive P300-component of ERP in patients with impaired consciousness due to severe traumatic brain injury.

NCT ID: NCT00428948 Completed - Clinical trials for Polycystic Kidney Disease, Autosomal Dominant

Tolvaptan Phase 3 Efficacy and Safety Study in ADPKD

TEMPO3/4
Start date: January 2007

The study is a prospective randomised, controlled study of 136 patients undergoing vascular surgery. Their closed wounds were covered with either aquacel, a hydrofiber dressing, or a traditional gauze dressing.Number of changes, patient comfort, number of infections, length of hospital stay and wound complications were compared between the two groups.

NCT ID: NCT00428428 Completed - Kidney Stone Clinical Trials

Pharmacological Modulation of the Intrarenal Pressure During Endourological Procedures in the Upper Urinary Tract

Start date: February 2007
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of endoluminally administrated isoproterenol on pelvic pressure increase during flexible ureterorenoscopy in 14 humans. We propose that isoproterenol has potential of reducing intrarenal pressure during ureterorenoscopies. Lower intrarenal pressures may have the advantage of facilitating the procedure and reducing intraoperative complications as bleeding and infections.
