There are about 11304 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Denmark. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a safety and efficacy study of abicipar pegol in participants with neovascular age-related macular degeneration.
In this trial, patients with mantle cell lymphoma will be included, treatment with lenalidomide, rituximab and ibrutinib will be administered in an induction phase for up to 12 cycles, cycle length 28 days. Patients with complete remission, partial response or stable disease will enter a maintenance phase with treatment with ibrutinib and rituximab until progression of disease. The primary objective is to evaluate overall response rate, based on PET and CT.
The primary efficacy objective for this study is to evaluate non-progression rate (NPR) at 18 weeks in participants with advanced solid tumors treated with atezolizumab, defined as the percentage of participants with complete response (CR), partial response (PR), or stable disease (SD) as assessed by the investigator according to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) Version (v) 1.1, or according to disease-specific criteria for prostate cancer and malignant pleural mesothelioma.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and device success of the Edwards CENTERA Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) System in symptomatic adult patients with severe aortic stenosis.
Laparoscopic ultrasound examination performed during surgery for primary cancer of the colon and rectum (CRC) has been shown to be able to detect liver metastasis that are not recognized by conventional computer tomography (CT scan) prior to surgery. Today most of the colorectal cancer resections are performed by laparoscopy, but robotic technology is gradually developed in an attempt to overcome some of the limitations characterized by laparoscopy. The use of contrast enhanced laparoscopic ultrasound examination (CE-LUS) of the liver during robot-assisted CRC surgery has not been studied, and this despite the fact that it seems technically possible to perform. With this project we will investigate whether CE-LUS associated with robotic surgery for CRC is technically feasible and whether it will be able to detect synchronous liver metastases that have not been detected on the preoperative imaging modalities.
A Phase 1 Study to Evaluate Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacology of ONO-4474 in healthy volunteers.
This study will assess the efficacy and safety of tocilizumab compared with placebo in participants with SSc across approximately 120 planned global study sites. The study will consist of a 48-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled period followed by a 48-week open-label treatment period. Participants will be assigned, in a 1:1 ratio, to double-blind treatment with active tocilizumab or matching placebo. In the open-label period, eligible participants from either arm may receive active tocilizumab.
The purpose of the trial is the analysis of safety and tolerability of the chymase inhibitor BAY1142524 in comparison to placebo using a 2 weeks treatment period in clinically stable patients with left-ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction. BAY1142524 or placebo will be given on top of evidence-based standard of care for left-ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction. Primary objectives are the analysis of safety and tolerability as evidenced by the incidence and severity of adverse events. BAY1142524 will be administered in a parallel group design using four doses (5, 10, 25 mg twice daily, and 50 mg once daily). Each dose group consists of 9 patients treated with verum and 3 patients treated with placebo.
The purpose of this study is to estimate the prevalence of celiac disease in a population of men and women newly referred to fertility treatment in Danish public fertility clinics.
The objective of the study is to investigate whether prophylactic treatment with melatonin has an effect on depressive symptoms. Secondarily melatonin's effect on anxiety, sleep and circadian disturbances will be investigated. The MEDACIS trial is a randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blinded multicenter trial investigating the effect of 25 mg exogenous melatonin (intervention group) against placebo (control group) and the study is designed as a parallel group superiority trial.
