The incidence rate and mortality of lung infection are high worldwide. It is a common and frequently occurring disease which seriously threatens human health. Severe pneumonia accounts for 18-36% of all pneumonia. Severe pneumonia has caused serious economic and medical burden. Therefore, it is urgent to carry out the real-world cohort study of severe pneumonia. Big data and sample library will provide useful clinical guidance and scientific research reserves for clinicians. Through further research, we can improve the treatment success rate and reduce the mortality. The purpose of this study is to provide reliable biological samples and related data information for the relevant basic and clinical trials in the field of severe pneumonia by carrying out the construction of special disease cohort database and biological sample holographic database, and to establish a long-term sharing platform for the transformation of research results into clinical practice, improve the prognosis of severe pneumonia,and provide the evidence for improving the diagnosis and treatment of severe pneumonia suitable for China's national conditions.

This is an open-lable, multicenter, and single arm phase II trial to evaluate treatment with KN026 plus docetaxel as neoadjuvant therapy in patients with early-stage (T1c or 2, N1, M0; T2 or 3, N0, M0) or locally advanced (T1c or 2 or 3, N2, M0; T3N1M0; T1c or 2 or 3, N3a or 3b, M0) HER2-positive breast cancer. The subjects will receive KN026 30 mg/kg IV + Docetaxel 75/m2 every 3 weeks for four cycles prior to surgery.

Effect of Thyrotropin Level on Iodine Uptake in Metastatic Differentiated Thyroid Cancer

Distant metastases is the leading cause of differentiated thyroid cancer-related death. Radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment is the most effective therapy for RAI-avid metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). It is well known that the efficacy of RAI therapy is depend on the sodium-iodide symporter protein, which can be synthesized by elevated thyrotropin stimulation. Therefore, thyrotropin stimulation before RAI treatment to ensure sufficient uptake of RAI has been a long-established procedure. According to some observational studies, thyrotropin of 25-30 μIU/mL has been adopted as the standard care protocol. However, whether thyrotropin of 25-30 μIU/mL is enough to stimulate iodine uptake in metastatic lesions remains unknown. In this study, the investigators aim to address the effect of thyrotropin on iodine uptake in metastatic DTC during levothyroxine withdrawal by two times 124I PET/CT scans on different endogenous thyrotropin levels.
