There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Objective: Facial paralysis can be caused by a variety of etiological factors, complete palsy continues for two months, the chance of full recovery is reduced to zero. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) in the in patients undergoing facial paralysis over 8 weeks. Methods: This study was an open-label, not concurrent control study including 54 patients that underwent facial paralysis over 8 weeks. Patients were assigned to the PBMT group and control group, with 27 patients in each group. Laser treatments were applied 3 days a week after recruited. PBMT was delivered using a class IV Multi-wave Locked System that combines with a simultaneous 808 nm continuous emission and 905 nm pulse emission and the maximum peak power was 25 W. Clinical outcome measure comprised the House-Brackmann grading system, Facial Clinimetric Evaluation Scale (FaCE), Sunnybrook facial grading scale (SBFG), and electrophysiological testing, including Electroneuronography (ENoG), Electromyography (EMG) and Blink Reflex. All the measurements were collected at the first day and at the end of study. All reported P values were two-sided and were declared statistically significant when less than 0.05.
This is a Prospective,Single-Center, Single-Arm, Phase 2 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Fluzoparib Combined With QL1101, as maintenance treatment, in patients with Advanced FIGO Stage III or IV High Grade Serous or Endometrioid Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, or primary peritoneal cancer following front-line platinum-based chemotherapy with QL1101. Eligible participants who achieve complete response (CR) or partial response (PR) following treatment with platinum-based chemotherapy in addition to QL1101 will be enrolled in the study and will receive maintenance treatment with fluzoparib (for up to 2 years) combined with QL1101 (for up to 10 months during the maintenance phase or up to a total of 15 months inclusive of the approximately 5 months of bevacizumab received with chemotherapy) or until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, participant withdrawal, Investigator's decision, or death, whichever comes first.
The study is a two-center prospective cohort clinical trial. The primary purpose of this trial is to identify the pattern of DKK2 serum levels in ischemic stroke patients after revascularization therapy and determine the correlation between serum DKK2 levels and prognosis.
Objective. In this study, the investigators aimed to investigate the efficacy of combined a single platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and physical exercise (leg swing and quadriceps strengthening exercise) versus PRP and hyaluronic acid (HA) combination therapy. Methods. One hundred and six patients with grade Ⅱ-Ⅲ Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) according to the Kellgren-Lawrence classification were randomly divided into intra-articular injection of PRP combined with leg swing and quadriceps strengthening exercise (group A) and intra-articular combination injections of PRP and HA (group B). Patients in group A received twice intra-articular injection of PRP (2 ml, 2 weeks apart) and regular leg swing and quadriceps strengthening exercise for 3 months. Patients in group B received twice intra-articular combination injections of PRP (2 ml) and HA (2 ml) every 2 weeks. The primary outcome measures were Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Western Ontario and McMaster Universities (WOMAC) score. The second outcomes included single leg stance test (SLS) and functional activity by 2 minutes walking test (2MWT) and time up and go test (TUGT). All outcomes were evaluated at baseline and after 1,3,6, and 12 months.
This study was a prospective randomized controlled trial. Patients aged <35 years with decreased clinical reserve function (AFC<5, Follicle stimulating hormone > 10miu/ml, Anti-mullerian hormone < 1.1μg/L) and receiving IVF/ICSI assisted ovulation induction in our hospital were included in this study. After randomization using Excel(Microsoft Corporation, Albuquerque, USA), these patients were divided into two groups. Group A was the experimental group, which was treated with growth hormone for 3 months (2 units per day) before IVF/ICSI. Group B was the control group, which was directly assisted by IVF/ICSI.
This study intends to explore the therapeutic effect of PCSK9i Evolocumab on atherosclerotic plaques in cerebral arteries (including carotid and vertebral arteries) compared with intensive statin treatment, and monitor the pathological properties of carotid/vertebral artery plaques with OCT technology. At the same time, three-dimensional ultrasound and high-resolution magnetic resonance are used to explore the new mechanism of pathological changes of cerebral atherosclerotic plaques in a multidimensional manner.
Laparoscopic D2 lymph node dissection (LND) for gastric cancer has a wide range of operations and a high degree of difficulty. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between clinicopathological factors and the difficulty of laparoscopic D2 LND.
The pathophysiological characteristics of respiratory failure on exacerbation of chronic pulmonary obstructive disease are the rapid deteriorate of respiratory symptoms, combined with aggravated flow limitation, gas trapping, dynamic pulmonary hyperinflation (DPH), therefore the intrinsic PEEP (PEEPi) increases. It is worthwhile to explore bedside methods to quantify the changes in dynamic pulmonary hyperinflation to guide safe and effective mechanical ventilation in airflow limited patients.
This experiment intends to explore the differences among various types of depression, as well as the differences between healthy subjects and depressed patients, and find possible biological markers from the severity of symptoms, social function and cognitive function of depressed patients, combined with EEG characteristics, biological test indicators (blood, faeces, hair, etc.) and functional magnetic resonance imaging data. To explore the changes in clinical symptoms, cognitive and social functions, and biological indicators of various types of patients before and after treatment, to provide references for the prognosis of various types, and to predict the future development of the disease according to the baseline indicators of patients; According to the above aspects, this experiment can follow up the patients with depression, track their disease development, and study the potential biological changes in the early stage of the disease, which has the potential to reveal the pathogenesis and provide guidance for the early diagnosis and intervention of depression.
This is a randomized controlled trial, to evaluate the effect of WONDERLAB Probiotic Compound Powder on improving immunity of preschool children
