Efficacy and Safety of Sodium Oligomannate in the Prevention of PSCI

Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) is a common complication of stroke, and seriously affect the quality of survival and the survival time in patients with stroke, PSCI is still lack of effective prevention and treatment measures, the study found that gut microbiota are closely associated with stroke and cognitive diseases, sodium oligomannate can improve cognitive function of mild-to-moderate alzheimer's disease (AD) , The Expert Consensus 2021 on the Management of Post-stroke cognitive impairment states that the role of sodium oligomannate in PSCI needs to be investigated in large sample clinical trials. This study intends to explore the efficacy and safety of sodium oligomannate in the prevention of PSCI in patients with acute ischemic stroke and cognitive impairment, so as to provide a potential intervention for the prevention of PSCI.

NCT ID: NCT05542290 Not yet recruiting - Glaucoma Clinical Trials

Implantation of Capsular Tension Ring in Primary Angle Closure Patients With Zonular Laxity or Dialysis

Start date: March 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) is the main type of glaucoma in China, which includes acute and chronic PACG. According to the International Society of Geographical and Epidemiological Ophthalmology (ISGEO), this spectrum of disease is divided into acute angle closure crisis (AACC), primary angle closure suspect (PACS), primary angle closure (PAC) and PACG. Previous researchers have reported that with the wider use of lens extraction and intraocular lens (IOL) implantation combined with anti-glaucoma surgery in the treatment of PAC and PACG, the prevalence of zonular laxity or dialysis in primary angle closure disease (PACD) was found to be relatively high. In one of the studies performed by the investigators, the proportion of zonular laxity or dialysis was 46.2%, significantly higher than that in the age-related cataract patients (control group), which was 6.0%. In PACD patients with zonular laxity or dialysis, whether or not should the investigators implant capsular tension ring (CTR), the efficacy and safety of CTR implantation, and if there is any difference in the prevalence of complications during and after surgery between patients with and without CTR implantation remain unclear. The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of CTR implantation in PACD patients with zonular laxity and zonular dialysis ≤ 4 clocks.

NCT ID: NCT05541042 Not yet recruiting - Glioblastoma Clinical Trials

Radiogenomics in Glioblastoma: Correlation Between Multiparametric Imaging Biomarkers and Genetic Biomarkers

Start date: December 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to evaluate relationships between multiparametric imaging biomarkers and genetic analysis in glioblastoma patients.

NCT ID: NCT05540275 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Recurrent Glioblastoma

Tislelizumab (One Anti-PD-1 Antibody) Plus Low-dose Bevacizumab for Bevacizumab Refractory Recurrent Glioblastoma

Start date: October 5, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Tislelizumab (one anti-PD-1 antibody same as nivolumab approved in China) in combination with bevacizumab in patients with recurrent or progressive glioblastoma (GBM) who have progressed on bevacizumab with or without PTEN or TERT gene mutations.

NCT ID: NCT05539339 Not yet recruiting - Glioblastoma Clinical Trials

Personalized Trial in ctDNA-level-relapse Glioblastoma

Start date: December 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Tumor in situ fluid (TISF) refers to the fluid within the surgical cavity of patients with glioblastoma. Postoperative serial TISF is collected for circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) analysis and identifying ctDNA-level relapse driven by one or a set of specific genomic alterations before overt imaging recurrence of the tumor. This single-arm open-label prospective pilot feasibility trial recruiting 20 adult patients with ctDNA-level-relapse glioblastoma who are assigned to receive the personalized study treatment based on the genetic profile of their serial TISF ctDNA. It will be aimed to test whether the personalized intervention can prolong the progression-free and overall survival and the feasibility of conducting a full-scale trial.

NCT ID: NCT05539261 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Heart Valve Diseases

Research on Neurological Prognosis of Patients Undergoing Heart Valve Surgery

Start date: September 10, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The purpose of this study is to clarify the changes of neurocognitive function of patients undergoing cardiac valve disease before and after surgical treatment under cardiopulmonary bypass operation, and to predict the neurological prognosis of such patients through combined imaging technology, so as to improve and avoid the occurrence of postoperative neurological dysfunction in such patients.

NCT ID: NCT05539118 Not yet recruiting - Melanoma Clinical Trials

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of recombinant human interferon-α1b (IFN-α1b) combined with toripalimab and anlotinib hydrochloride in patients with unresectable advanced melanoma. This study consists of 2 phases( Ib / II). Phase Ib will determine the recommended phase Ⅱ dose for anlotinib hydrochloride. Phase II will evaluate the efficacy and safety of the triple combination regimens.

NCT ID: NCT05537597 Not yet recruiting - Parkinson's Disease Clinical Trials

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for Musculoskeletal Pain in Patients With Parkinson's Disease

Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Pain is an increasingly recognized non-motor symptom of Parkinson's disease (PD), with significant prevalence and negative impact on the quality of life of patients. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) of the primary motor cortex(M1)has been proposed to provide definite analgesic effect for pain syndromes. However, very few placebo-controlled studies have been performed specifically to relieve pain in PD. What's more, based on behavioral measures alone, it is impossible to reveal the full network dynamics reflecting the impact of TMS. Electroencephalography (EEG), with high temporal resolution, records signal that its origin in electrical neural activity, which makes it suitable for measuring TMS-evoked activation. By recording the TMS induced neuronal activation directly from the cortex, TMS-EEG provides information on the excitability, effective connectivity of cortical area, thus exploring cortical network properties in different functional brain states. In addition, the use of EEG offers great prospects as a tool to select the right patients in order to achieve adequate, long-term pain relief. Besides assessing the efficacy and safety of high-frequency neuronavigated M1-rTMS in PD patients with musculoskeletal pain, the objective of this study additionally aimed to characterize cortical activation behind pain relief. Influence on motor and other non-motor symptoms after rTMS were also investigated.
