There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Gallbladder meridian(GB) acupoints may play an important role in the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD). Therefore, this study is designed to focus on the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory of " gallbladder dominating decision ", take the GB as the entry point, and use functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy(fNIRS) technology to observe the effect of intradermal acupuncture on the cerebral hemodynamic indexes of the prefrontal cortex and bilateral temporal cortex of patients with MDD.
Malnutrition caused by reduced food intake or assimilation and varying degrees of acute or chronic inflammation is a serious and underappreciated risk factor for adverse clinical outcomes. Despite the substantial health and economic burden, malnutrition remains to affect a considerable proportion of hospitalized patients worldwide. Nationally representative studies from the USA, Australia, and European countries have reported prevalence figures in the range of 8.9% to 80.4%. However, national data in some resource-poor countries, such as China, the largest developing country in the world, are scarce. During 2020 to 2022, the investigators conducted the China Nutrition Fundamental Data 2020 (CNFD 2020). This project provides a reference for nutritional risk assessment, malnutrition diagnosis, and treatment criteria for hospitalized patients in China. This project also provides data to promote the construction of clinical nutrition departments and improve the nutritional status of hospitalized patients. Thus, the investigators plan to conduct the China Nutrition Fundamental Data 2022 in a large, nationally representative sample of Chinese adult inpatients to 1) To further explore the relationship between nutrition and health; 2) To further understand the capacity of nutrition services in Chinese medical institutions. This project will adopt a multistage, stratified, cluster-sampling procedure based on administrative divisions in China. For each participant, a structured interview will be done by trained nutritionists or clinicians. The following data will be acquired: weight change within and beyond six months, food intake change within two weeks, nutrition therapy during this hospitalization, Karnofsky score, clinical outcome, total hospitalization costs, and laboratory tests. The investigators will also collect information on participants' sociodemographic characteristics and medical history. The investigators will take physical measurements, including height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, mid-arm circumference, calf circumference, handgrip strength, and blood pressure following standard protocols. Body composition will be measured using bioimpedance analysis (BIA). In addition, the investigators plan to collect information on the number of beds, the nutrition support team, the nutrition treatment plan and the construction of a full-time nutrition physician or nutrition nurse, the routine monitoring methods, interventions, and distribution of brochures for patients with malnutrition or nutritional risk in each project hospital.
Hypertension is an risk factor for cognitive impairment. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of 12-week computerized cognitive training in people with hypertension and mild cognitive impairment. The researchers will further investigate the long-term effects of cognitive training by prolonging the intervention for 24 weeks among a randomly selected sub-group.
This study aimed to evaluate the safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy of QLF32101 administered intravenously and subcutaneously in patients with R/R, AML.
Hysteroscopy is used to examine and treat uterine diseases. Because of severe pain due to uterine distention and cervical dilatation, deep sedation usually be provided during this procedure. Respiratory depression and upper airway obstruction are main respiratory complications during deep sedation. Face mask and nasopharyngeal airway are main airway management during deep sedation. Oxygen reserve index is a non-invasive parameter, it reflects the moderate hyperoxia statues. In this study, investigators compare the effect of face mask and nasopharyngeal airway management on oxygenation during deep sedation in participants undergoing hysteroscopy. Investigators also investigate whether oxygen reserve index monitoring reduce the incidence of hypoxemia.
Patients with stage Ⅰ colorectal cancer or stage Ⅱ colon cancer usually have a good prognosis and are not recommended to receive adjuvant chemotherapy after radical surgery. With the advances in liquid biopsy technology, detection of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) can effectively identify early-stage cancer patients with minimal residual disease (MRD) after surgery. According to the growing number of MRD studies in solid tumor, colorectal cancer patients with ctDNA-MRD detection have a poor clinical outcome and are likely to relapse within two years. This study aims to assess the efficacy of adjuvant chemotherapy with capecitabine plus oxaliplatin (CAPEOX) compared with conventional observation in MRD-positive patients with stage I colorectal cancer and clinically low-risk stage II colon cancer.
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) represents a transitional stage between healthy aging and dementia, and affects more than 15% of the population over the age of 60 in China. About 15% patients with MCI could progress into dementia after two years and about one-third develop into dementia within five years, which will lead to suffering, as well as staggering economic and care burden. So, exploring the predicting biomarkers from MCI to dementia to identify and delay progression to dementia at an early stage is of great social and clinical significance. Some reports based on a single neural biomarker suggest that risk models can predict the conversion of MCI to dementia, but no widely recognized prediction models basing on multiple complex markers have been used in clinical practice. The objectives of this study are to outline the spectrum of MCI transforming into dementia through a 5-year prospective longitudinal cohort study; Secondly, screening biomarkers for MCI transmit to dementia are based on clinical symptoms, neuropsychology, neuroimaging, neuroelectrophysiology, and humoral markers tests data.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of tetrandrine tablets in preventing the progression of COVID-19 from severe to critical.
A Multicenter, Open-Label, Non-Randomized, Uncontrolled Study of VGR-R01 in Patients with Bietti Crystalline Dystrophy.
An observational clinical study on the changes of intestinal flora between people with circadian rhythm disorders and healthy controls was conducted to explore the relationship between circadian rhythm disorders and human intestinal microorganisms. To reveal the effects of circadian rhythm disorder on human intestinal microorganisms and metabolism on other potential diseases. In this study, 40 people with circadian disorders and 40 healthy controls were recruited. During the study, blood, urine and fecal samples of the subjects were obtained once, and the obtained biological samples were tested and analyzed by serum, urine metabolomics and fecal metagenomics. Subjects were also evaluated on the following scales : Circadian Type Inventory(CTI ). The Epworth Sleeping Scale ( ESS ), Fatigue Scale-14 ( FS-14 ), Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey ( MBI-GS ), Athens Insomnia Scale ( AIS ), Insomnia Severity Index ( ISI ), Pittsburgh sleep quality index ( PSQI ), Bristol Stool Scale, Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale ( GSRS ), Connor-Davidson resi.
