There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of a study drug known as LY3209590 in Chinese participants with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are on a stable dose of basal insulin. Side effects and tolerability will be documented. Blood samples will be taken to assess how the body processes the study drug and the effect of the study drug on blood sugar levels. The study will last up to 18 weeks and may include 18 visits for each participant.
Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) were all recommended for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) optimization in the latest guidelines, however, which imaging modality was more suitable as either a diagnostic or guidance tool was still unknown. Recently, a novel, well-designed hybrid imaging system was approved for clinical use, allowing the accurate co-registration of two imaging modalities and immediate, simultaneous image review. For testing each modality in the hybrid imaging system, the investigators conducted this prospective, multicentre, non-inferiority trial. In this study, all participants achieved hybrid IVUS-OCT imaging after stenting, at meanwhile, patients randomly assigned to the IVUS arm were performed control IVUS (OptiCross, Boston Scientific, Natick, MA), and patients randomly assigned to the OCT arm were performed control OCT (C7 Dragonfly Duo, St. Jude Medical, St. Paul, MN). In this study, the investigators evaluated the non-inferiority of standalone IVUS versus control IVUS or standalone OCT versus control OCT in clinical feasibility using clear stent capture rate (CSCR) and safety using perioperative device-related adverse cardiovascular events.
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether perioperative use of low doses of opioids could reduce postoperative delirium .
According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of 108 patients were enrolled and randomly divided into control group (n = 56) and intervention group (n = 52). The control group received routine nursing, while the intervention group received upper limb lymphedema prevention program for breast cancer patients after surgery. Before surgery, at the third chemotherapy (about 2.1 months after surgery) and the sixth chemotherapy (about 4.2 months after surgery), the self-designed general information questionnaire was used to investigate the patient's basic situation, and the corresponding tools were used to measure the volume of the patient's upper arm, the grip strength of the affected arm, and the range of motion of the affected shoulder joint.
the aim of this study is to evaluate the advantages of the non-intubation compared with intubation anesthesia on enhanced recovery after thoracoscopic surgery
Epidural anesthesia (EP) is widely used for labor analgesia. Time to onset of adequate pain relief of EP technique for labor analgesia may be 15 to 20 minutes.More rapid injection is often passible through the needle compared to catheter and could enhance the spread of medication within the epidural space. There is lack of research assessing the onset of labor analgesia with a large priming dose of local anesthetic through the epidural needle compared with the epidural catheter.
In 2020, the overall myopia rate among children and adolescents in my country was 52.7%. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased students' time of indoor eye-using, and it showed that the light exposure intensity of myopic students is lower than that of non-myopia students. Studies have found that the light wave bandwidth has a significant impact on the emmetropization of the eye, and white light can promote emmetropia more than monochromatic light. It shows that outdoor exercise has a protective effect on the occurrence and development of myopia in children and adolescents, but the specific mechanism is still unclear. Retinal blood flow is sensitive to myopic stimuli, and is a short-term indicator of the relationship between light environment and myopia. This study selected retinal blood flow as the primary outcome, aiming to compare the effects of different outdoor light exposure modes on retinal blood flow after 1 hour of intense eye use, and provide clues for the prevention and control of myopia.
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a group of disease characterized by obstructed airflow. Usually, the lung structure is gradually impaired along with the progression of the disease. Recently, the treatment of disease is challenged by shortage of approaches for regenerating the injured lung tissue. Here in this study, investigators intend to perform a single-centered, open, concurrent-controlled phase I/II clinical trial with autologous bronchial basal cells on COPD treatment since they were proved to regenerate lung tissue in animal models. The participants is recruited and divided into experiment group and control group. For patients from experiment group, bronchial basal cells will be isolated, expanded, carefully characterized in vitro and transplanted autologously into lung by fiberoptic bronchoscopy. No intervention is performed for patients from control group. During the study, the safety and efficacy will be evaluated on all the subjects by measuring the key indicators.
To evaluate the intervention effect of triple pre-rehabilitation on head and neck cancer patients with radiotherapy, and process evaluation to further optimize the intervention program. The pre-rehabilitation intervention was develped previously based on the process of evidence-based-nursing, including interventions of nurtrtion, exercise, and psychology.
Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) is a new mode to optimize perioperative management, the core of which is to reduce perioperative physiological and psychological trauma and stress damage, and accelerate postoperative rehabilitation. ERAS has been gradually introduced in pediatric surgery in recent years, however, there are limited reports on its overall implementation. We aimed to determine the popularity of ERAS among pediatric populations in mainland China.
