Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a serious chronic (long term) disease with injury of lung tissues. REGEND001 Autologous Therapy Product, made from bronchial basal cells with ability to regenerate lung tissue, is promising to IPF treatment. In this study, a single-armed clinical trial is ongoing to assess the safety and tolerability of REGEND001 Autologous Therapy Product in treatment of IPF. Different doses of REGEND001 Autologous Therapy Product is evaluated to establish a dose-response relationship and to recommend appropriate dose for subsequent clinical trials.

This study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase II clinical trial to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of SCTV01E in population of different ages who have been vaccinated against COVID-19. A total of 750 participants ≥3 years old who have received the recommended dose and immunization procedure of domestically approved COVID-19 vaccines will be enrolled, including 250 participants ≥18 years old (group A), 250 participants aged 12-17 years old (group B), and 250 participants aged 3-11 years old (group C). The study will be carried out gradually according to the age of the participants from older to younger. Considering that SCTV01E in this study is the first clinical study in participants under 18 years old, 15 sentinel participants will be assigned to group B and 30 sentinel participants will be assigned to group C (including 15 aged 6-11 years old and 15 aged 3-5 years old). The Primary end points are 1. The incidence and severity of solicited adverse events on days 0-7 after inoculation with SCTV01E. 2. IgG total antibody concentrations (ELISA) against SARS-CoV-2 prototype strains and neutralizing antibodies titer (Live virus neutraliztion antibody test) against SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant at 28 days post-vaccination.

All patients included in the study will continue to be followed up until 28 days after SS109 administration.

Effect of Exercise on Cognitive Function and Mental Health in Heroin Addicts

The goal of this [type of study: exercise intervention study] is to test in describe participant health conditions. The main questions it aims to answer are: - [Whether physical exercise improves executive function of male heroin addicts] - [Whether physical exercise improves negative thinking/affect psychological experience of male heroin addicts] Participants will be randomly selected for medium-intensity strength training (resistance exercise,n=30), 30 will be selected for 1-hour long balloon volleyball sessions (aerobic exercise) at 60-70% volume of oxygen uptake during peak exercise, weekly 5 times for 12 weeks; and 30 will be assigned to the no-exercise control group, Participants will perform Executive function tests and the Symptom Checklist-90 Revised questionnaire at pre and post intervention. Researchers will compare resistance exercise group,aerobic exercise group and no-exercise control group to see if effects of exercise on executive function and negative thinking/affect psychological experience of male heroin addicts.

Prolonged Clinical Follow-up of OPTIMA-5

The OPTIMA-5 trial is a prospective, multi-center, randomized, patient blinded, controlled trial comparing a single bolus of half-dose recombinant staphylokinase (r-SAK) with normal saline (NS) in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) presenting ≤12 hours of symptom onset and expected to undergo primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) within 120 minutes. The results of OPTIMA-5 showed that a single bolus r-SAK prior to PPCI for STEMI improves infarct related artery (IRA) patency and reduces infarct size without increasing major bleeding. On this basis, this study was designed to investigate the effect of the novel reperfusion strategy on 1-year outcomes of patients with STEMI.

The Effect of Low Sodium Diet on Idiopathic Hyperaldosteronism

This study was a single-center randomized controlled trial which lasted 14 days and consisted of two stages (run-in period (stage I) and intervention period (stage II) each contain 7 days without potassium supplement. If participants meet the enrollment criteria at the end of stage I, they were assigned to the low sodium group (50mmol/d) or normal sodium group (100mmol/d), and then continued to finish stage II. The primary outcome was the change in serum potassium after exposure to normal sodium / low sodium diet and the secondary outcome was the assessment of BP change following a normal sodium / low sodium diet. Patients were given nifedipine controlled-release tablets 30 mg/d to lower blood pressure and were not provided any potassium supplements during the two stages. If the subject has an increase in BP (>180/110 mmHg), the dose of nifedipine controlled-release tablets will be increased to 60 mg/d. Patients will be withdrawn from the study if they cannot tolerate the diet or their serum potassium were below 2.8 mmol/L.
