This study was to determine the maximum-tolerated dose (MTD) and/or the optimal biological dose (OBD) as well as the optimal schedule for intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SC) administrations of RO7172508 as monotherapy, with or without obinutuzumab pre-treatment, in participants with locally advanced and/or metastatic carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-positive solid tumors who have progressed on standard of care (SOC) treatment, are intolerant to SOC, and/or are non-amenable to SOC. This study was conducted in two parts. Part I of the study consisted of an IV single participant cohort/multiple-ascending dose-escalation to evaluate the safety of RO7172508. Part II was a multiple participant cohort/multiple-ascending dose-escalation to define the MTD and/or OBD of RO7172508 administered as single agent, IV and/or SC, in participants with tumors that are expressing high as well as moderate/low-CEA. The study switched from Part I to Part II when the maximum planned dose for Part I was reached or the occurrence of a RO7172508-related Grade >= 2 adverse event (AE) or dose-limiting toxicity (DLT) was observed, whichever comes first. The Sponsor may decide to switch from Part I to Part II in the absence of an observed RO7172508-related Grade >= 2 toxicity or prior to maximum planned dose for Part I.
This expanded access program is designed to make fremanezumab available to patients with EM or CM who have successfully completed (per protocol) Teva-sponsored Study TV48125-CNS-30051 or TV48125-CNS-30068 ("prior studies") until fremanezumab becomes commercially available in their country.
An education intervention to promote medication reviews and interdisciplinary discussions within long-term care facilities with the aim of improving medication regimen among residents with severe dementia
Pain is a common experience in childhood. Healthy children can undergo up to 20 painful procedures by the age of 5. Moreover, millions of children undergo surgery (e.g., tonsillectomies) each year, which is commonly linked to pain and distress. Pain from, and fear of, medical experiences are not short lasting. Indeed, they can influence children long after the painful situation is over. Children's memories of pain after surgery can affect painful experiences in the future. Negative memories of pain (when children remember more pain than the actual level of pain experienced) are linked to higher pain and distress. As well, children who are more anxious and who experience greater pain are more likely to develop negatively biased pain memories, which then leads to greater fear and pain at subsequent pain experiences. It has been suggested that the ways in which parents and children talk about pain following painful events is important for how children remember the pain. This study will be one of the first to look at whether a parent-led memory reframing intervention can reduce children's negative memories of surgery. The study will include 100 children scheduled for a tonsillectomy and one of their parents. They will be recruited from the Alberta Children's Hospital. Parents will complete a survey 1-3 weeks before their child's surgery, and then the child's pain and anxiety will be monitored on the day of surgery and for 2 weeks after surgery. Two weeks after surgery, the parent and child will come to the hospital and be assigned to a control group or a memory reframing session. Six weeks after surgery, parents and children will complete a telephone interview.

The overall goal of this proposal is to determine if quantitative sensory testing (QST) assessing pain modulation can be used as a clinical tool to optimize perioperative pain management. The central hypothesis is that the identification of patient's sensory pain profile allows personalizing therapeutic approaches to improve individualized pain management and thus prevents pain chronicity.

This multi-site double-blind, placebo-controlled randomized Phase 3 study assesses the efficacy and safety of MDMA-assisted therapy versus placebo with therapy in participants diagnosed with at least severe PTSD. The study will be conducted in up to N ≈ 100 participants. Participants will be randomized to receive a flexible dose of MDMA or placebo, followed by a supplemental half-dose, unless contraindicated, during the Treatment Period with manualized therapy in three monthly Experimental Sessions. This ~12-week Treatment Period is preceded by three Preparatory Sessions. During the Treatment Period, each Experimental Session is followed by three Integrative Sessions of non-drug psychotherapy.
