The main questions it aims to answer are: - What is the feasibility and acceptability of SPYKids compared to services as usual? - What are the changes in child mental health between the SPYKids group compared with the SAU group? Participants will - Fill out questionnaires at baseline, immediately post-program, approximately one month after the baseline assessment, and three months after the baseline assessment - Meet with a parent coach in a virtual 90-minute session to discuss coping strategies relevant to their identified concerns Researchers will compare participants in the SPYKids group with participants in the Services as Usual group to see if there are changes in child well-being, parent well-being, and parent self-efficacy.

NCT ID: NCT05845814 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Urothelial Carcinoma

A Study of Efficacy and Safety of Pembrolizumab Plus Enfortumab Vedotin (EV) +/- Investigational Agents in First-Line Metastatic Urothelial Carcinoma (mUC) (MK-3475-04B/KEYMAKER-U04)

Start date: June 23, 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is a substudy being conducted under one pembrolizumab umbrella master study KEYMAKER-U04. The substudy will consist of 2 parts. Part 1 will evaluate the efficacy and safety of coformulated favezelimab/pembrolizumab plus EV and coformulated vibostolimab/pembrolizumab plus EV relative to pembrolizumab plus EV. There will be no comparison of coformulated favezelimab/pembrolizumab plus EV versus coformulated vibostolimab/pembrolizumab plus EV. If ORR and/or DRR are substantially better on coformulated favezelimab/pembrolizumab plus EV and/or coformulated vibostolimab/pembrolizumab plus EV compared with pembrolizumab plus EV, after evaluation of the totality of data, the sponsor might consider Part 2 (expansion) to further characterize the efficacy and safety of the treatment arms under study.

NCT ID: NCT05838612 Active, not recruiting - Aging Clinical Trials

Hot Water Immersion as a Heat Acclimation Strategy in Older Adults

Start date: April 29, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Aging is associated with impairments in heat loss responses of skin blood flow and sweating leading to reductions in whole-body heat loss. Consequently, older adults store more body heat and experience greater elevations in core temperature during heat exposure at rest and during exercise. This maladaptive response occurs in adults as young as 40 years of age. Recently, heat acclimation associated with repeated bouts of exercise in the heat performed over 7 successive days has been shown to enhance whole-body heat loss in older adults, leading to a reduction in body heat storage. However, performing exercise in the heat may not be well tolerated or feasible for many older adults. Passive heat acclimation, such as the use of warm-water immersion may be an effective, alternative method to enhance heat-loss capacity in older adults. Thus, the following study aims to assess the effectiveness of a 7-day warm-water immersion (~40°C) protocol in enhancing whole-body heat loss in older adults. Warm-water immersion will consist of a one-hour immersion in warm water with core temperature clamped at 38.5°C. Improvements in whole-body heat loss will be assessed during an incremental exercise protocol performed in dry heat (i.e., 40°C, ~15% relative humidity) prior to and following the 7-day passive heat acclimation protocol. The incremental exercise protocol will consist of three 30 minute exercise bouts performed at increasing fixed rates of metabolic heat production (i.e., 150, 200, and 250 W/m2), each separated by 15-minutes of recovery, with exception final recovery will be 1-hour in duration) performed in a direct calorimeter (a device that provides a precise measurement of the heat dissipated by the human body).

NCT ID: NCT05832112 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Stage I Clinical Trials

Outside the Cage (OTC) Robotic Lobectomy

OTC-RATS
Start date: February 22, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study consists in a prospective pilot study evaluating the feasibility and safety of OTC RATS lobectomies in patients treated for lung cancer. All patients with clinical stage I tumors (≤cT2N0M0) planned to undergo a VATS or RATS lobectomy at the CHUM will be approached. At our institution, lobectomies are either performed open by thoracotomy or by MIS, including VATS and RATS. The technique is selected based on tumor size, tumor location and patient characteristics. Only patients already planned for a VATS or RATS lobectomy will be approached. They will be identified through the operation request forms and will be approached either in the preoperative clinic or the day before surgery, when admitted. The investigators aim to recruit 20 patients.

"Profile HIT" (Holistic Individualized Treatment)

HIT-PRF
Start date: March 20, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The "Holistic Individualized Treatment" (HIT) approach is used to identify treatment priorities, focus areas, and appropriate products for soft tissue filler treatments.
