There are about 28871 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Canada. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary purpose of the study is to compare the effectiveness of nivolumab plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) followed by nivolumab plus ipilimumab vs CCRT followed by durvalumab in participants with untreated Locally Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (LA NSCLC).
The main purpose of the study is to examine if periadjuvant (neoadjuvant, then adjuvant) immunotherapy will prolong event free survival in participants with early stage non-small cell lung cancer.
The purpose of the trial is to evaluate a patient's response to a Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor (FGFR) inhibitor, futibatinib (TAS-120), used either alone or in combination with the hormonal therapy, fulvestrant. This study will be conducted in patients with metastatic breast cancer who have specific Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor gene abnormalities and who have previously received conventional therapies to treat their breast cancer, or who are not able to tolerate certain cancer therapies. This study will also evaluate the safety of taking futibatinib, or futibatinib and fulvestrant, by learning about the potential side effects.
This is a pivotal phase 3 study designed to support an indication for the reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with established CVD and elevated Lp(a)
A phase 2b study to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety study of ABX464 50mg as maintenance therapy in patients with moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis.
The study evaluates if the Emergency Room Evaluation and Recommendation Tool (ER2) reduces the hospital admission rate and the length of stay in Emergency.
This study examines retrospective clinical data on patients diagnosed with breast cancer and monitor their response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy, incidence of locoregional recurrence, distant metastasis, and disease-free survival. The hypothesis of this study is that breast cancer patients who achieve a pathological complete response (pCR) to neoadjuvant chemotherapy demonstrate distinct clinicopathomic biomarker signatures.
This study evaluates the difference between PRISMA-7 and ER2 tool. There are some differences between PRISMA-7 and ER2 tool. The differences consist in evaluation criteria that are used to perform the both surveys. We suppose that evaluation criteria of PRISMA-7 is not accurately enough to calculate the length of hospital stay and to predict the short-term outcomes.
This study evaluates the recommendations of a screening tool called: ER2 (Emergency Room Evaluation and Recommendations Form). This stool is used in Emergency Department by nurses, and it supposes to measure patient risk score.
People who receive radiation therapy for head and neck cancer (HNC) can experience side-effects which include a significant loss in body mass and a loss of muscle mass (cancer cachexia). Some research has shown success in the use of generic (dynamic) resistance training interventions for patients affected by head and neck cancer. However, this approach could be optimized with the use of novel training methods. The primary aim of this research is to investigate the effect of conventional resistance training vs. an experimental intervention (electromyostimulation combined with accentuated eccentric loading) on muscle strength and muscle mass after radiation for HNC.
