This trial is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, 2-arm, multicenter trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of C21 versus placebo as add-on to standard of care (SoC) in adult subjects with COVID-19. The trial planned to enroll a total of maximum 300 randomized subjects, 150 per arm (oral C21 100 mg twice a day (BID) or placebo for 14 days) according to the 1:1 randomization.
The main aims of the study are to assess the safety profile of Teduglutide (Revestive®) in people with Short Bowel Disease as well as how well people respond to the treatment with Teduglutide (Revestive®). This study is about collecting data only; participants receive Teduglutide (Revestive®) by their doctors according to the clinical practice but not as part of this study. Only standard care information available in the participant's medical records will be reviewed and collected for this study. Participants do not need to visit their doctor in addition to their normal visits.

Participants will receive a single dose of GSK3810109A administered either intravenously (IV) or subcutaneously (SC). The study includes a screening phase, a randomized monotherapy phase and a standard of care follow-up phase.

This study compares insulin icodec (a new insulin taken once a week) to insulin degludec (an insulin taken once daily which is already available on the market) in people with type 2 diabetes. The study will look at how well insulin icodec taken weekly controls blood sugar compared to insulin degludec taken daily. Participants will get their study medicine in an injection pen. Participants will get a pen for weekly injection and one for daily injection. One will be icodec or degludec and the other will be dummy medicine. The treatment participants get is decided by chance. Participants and the study staff will not know which active medicine they get. The insulin is injected with a needle in a skin fold in the thigh. The study could last for about 8 months. Participants will have 13 clinic visits and 17 phone calls with the study doctor. At 8 clinic visits participants will have blood samples taken. At 4 clinic visits participants cannot eat or drink (except for water) for 8 hours before the visit. Women cannot take part if pregnant, breast-feeding or plan to become pregnant during the study period.
This is a pilot, interventional clinical trial to assess the effectiveness and safety of artificial pancreas (AP) using the ARG algorithm closed-loop system in a monitored 3-day period outpatient study. Once the safety of the device has been validated in the open-loop first 3-day period (continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) plus continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)) the investigators will move the study to the second 3-day closed-loop period, without carbohydrate (CHO) counting.
The AN-PEP, an Aspergillus niger derived endopeptidase, has been developed aiming to produce a complete luminal detoxification of gluten. If AN-PEP is able to produce a complete luminal digestion of gluten in the context of the real life of celiac disease (CeD) patients is unknown. Hypothetically, AN-PEP effect could be detected by the reduction in the excretion of GIP in stool and urine. The objective of this study is to establish the effect of the daily administration of AN-PEP compared to placebo on GIP excretion in an interventional, prospective, randomized, comparative, double-blind study in conditions mimicking the real-life of CeD treated patients. The study consists in a four-week GFD stabilization period followed by a four-week study period with patients randomized to receive active AN-PEP or placebo in a blindly manner.
