Start date: January 6, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

We first collect tumor tissue and adjacent tissue to peform the WES sequencing, then collect blood after postoperative surgery 1, 3. 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 month to detect ctDNA.

NCT ID: NCT06005259 Not yet recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Effect of Spironolactone in the Prevention of Anthracycline-induced Cardiotoxicity (SPIROTOX)

SPIROTOX
Start date: October 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effect of spironolactone in the primary prevention of cardiotoxicity in cancer patients who are undergoing chemotherapy with anthracycline within 12 months. The main question it aims to answer is: • Does spironolactone reduce the incidence of cardiotoxicity in patients undergoing anthracycline chemotherapy? Participants will: - Be cancer patients over 18 years starting treatment with anthracycline; - Be randomized to receive either spironolactone or a placebo for 1 year; - Undergo assessments of their left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), global longitudinal strain, and cardiac biomarkers over the 12-month period. Researchers will compare the spironolactone group to the placebo group to see if cardiotoxicity incidence differs between the two.

NCT ID: NCT05992337 Recruiting - Chemotherapy Effect Clinical Trials

New Biomarkers in the Prediction of Chemotherapy-induced Cardiotoxicity.

Start date: September 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Early detection and thus rapid therapy of cardiotoxicity related to chemotherapy are essential for restoring cardiovascular function. The complete recovery of the cardiovascular system decreases with time to identify the presence of cardiotoxic damage. The project aims to define new biomarkers for the early detection of cardiotoxicity in patients treated with chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT05985551 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Delayed SLND for Patients With Breast Cancer Undergoing Primary Systemic Treatment

MagNeo
Start date: January 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this study was to assess the feasibility of SLND by superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIO) in patients with early breast cancer planned for primary systemic therapy (PST) and whether this is affected by the timeframe of SPIO administration. For this, patients with cN0/1 disease planned for PST received radioisotope as per routine on the day of surgery or the day before, and SPIO was injected in an extended timeframe, at any point from the day of surgery to before the induction of PST. The main points to investigate are: 1. If the SPIO detection rate and concordance to the radiosotope are affected by time of SPIO injection 2. If the nodal yield and the accuracy of the procedure are affected

NCT ID: NCT05983783 Recruiting - Chemotherapy Effect Clinical Trials

Comparing the Efficacy and Safety of Rezvilutamide+ADT+Docetaxel Versus Rezvilutamide +ADT in the mHSPC

Start date: August 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Evaluate whether the combination of Rezvilutamide and androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) with docetaxel improves overall survival (OS) in patients with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) compared to the combination of Rezvilutamide and ADT.

NCT ID: NCT05982301 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Sintilimab Combined With Modified FLOT Regimen in the Treatment of Metastatic Gastric Cancer

Start date: February 9, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, one-arm, single-center phase II study. The objective was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of domestic PD-1 antibody Sintilimab combined with modified FLOT regimen in the treatment of metastatic gastric cancer. To compare the time of maintenance of treatment after induction of chemotherapy with sintilimab combined with modified FLOT regimen until the reapplication of induction regimen with or without the combination of sintilimab, and the time of secondary progression after signing informed consent until the reapplication of induction regimen with or without the combination of sintilimab.

NCT ID: NCT05967559 Completed - Chemotherapy Effect Clinical Trials

Online Flipped Learning in Nursing Student

Start date: January 10, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Cancer is one of the major health problems facing Turkey and the world. One of the methods used to treat cancer is chemotherapy. During this treatment period, some side effects may develop in patients. These developing symptoms can be managed with effective nursing interventions, which in turn can increase the patient's quality of life. Managing these symptoms is among the responsibilities of the nurse. The nurses' ability to effectively manage the side effects of chemotherapy depends on gaining specific knowledge, attitudes, and skills during their vocational training and the development of problem-solving and critical thinking. The research was carried out to examine the effect of chemotherapy symptom management education based on the online flipped learning model on the achievement, critical thinking, and self-directed learning of nursing students.
