Filter by:This project assesses the feasibility and usability of the geriatric assessment platform (electronic Geriatric Assessment Platform or eGAP in 50 older patients with cancer, their caregivers, and their oncology team. Using an iterative process, we will refine the eGAP based on input from stakeholders.
The aim of study is to analyse the feasibility of the use of nutritionnal complements after exercices before surgery for cancer. Body composition, muscle function and muscle mass will be analyse too.
This study is looking at outcomes in people with advanced cancers who have exhausted standard treatment options and are accessing off indication or unregistered drugs or combinations of drugs through compassionate access from the manufacturer.
This project's overall goal is to test the feasibility, acceptability and efficacy of two coach-assisted, computer-based, cognitive- behavioral therapy (C-CBT) interventions in treating depression and anxiety in adolescent and young adult cancer survivors. The two coach-assisted interventions will be compared to the standard C-CBT intervention.
Multicenter, prospective, randomized, controlled trial based on a mixed-method methodology using parallel groups, of oral mirtazapine (intervention) compared with oral escitalopram (control), with a 56 days follow-up. Improvement of the Global health Status (issued from the EORTC-QLQ-C30 (Quality of Life Questionnaire)) will be used as the primary outcome on day 56. Semi-structures interviews will be performed on a purposive sample for qualitative analysis. The 418 participants will be followed-up at day 7, 14, 28 and 56 for a 56 days period. A sub-group of participants will be invited to take part into qualitative interviews at baseline and day 56. Recruitment of participants to the qualitative part will be based on a purposive sampling.
This single center, Phase 1b, prospective, dose limiting toxicity (DLT)-clearing study, will assess the safety and efficacy of intravenously administered PROMITIL in combination with FOLFOX in cancer patients with inoperable, locally advanced or metastatic GI solid tumors. Based on previous clinical results, we hypothesized that the addition of PROMITIL to FOLFOX, a treatment protocol consisting of oxaliplatin and fluoropyrimidine and commonly used to treat gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies, may enhance the overall efficacy of this combination regimen while maintain a reasonable safety profile.
The study of LVGN6051-201 is designed to use a bridging dose escalation to quickly establish the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and/or the recommended dose for expansion (RDE) as well as the recommended Phase 2 dose(s) (RP2D) of LVGN6051, both as a single agent (monotherapy) and in combination with a fixed dose of anti-PD-1 antibody (Pembrolizumab) in the treatment of advanced or metastatic malignancy.
The purpose of this research study is to test an online support group designed to help young adults who have had cancer treatment to manage their mood during a pandemic. Investigators hope to learn more about what effects a support group may have upon the health and well-being of young adults who have undergone cancer treatment by offering an online support group that teaches healthy coping skills in a practical and acceptable way. Investigators would also like to know if certain parts of the online material is more effective in helping subjects manage their mood.
This study is designed to study the feasibility and acceptability of the Open to Options (O2O) Chatbot prototype. The O2O program is an existing patient support program with content currently delivered via in-person counseling with a trained mental health professional or via an existing web-based program (Let's Talk Treatment Options).The Chatbot is an automated, menu-based agent being developed in this study to extend the reach and accessibility of the O2O program via the Chatbot's "virtual coaching".
This is a prospective, multisite, descriptive, observational clinical/epidemiological study examining both quantitative and qualitative data pertaining to clinical outcomes and organizational responses to the 2020 SARS-Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic.
