This retrospective study focuses on benign and malignant classification of thyroid nodules using deep learning techniques and evaluates the value of deep learning based nomograms in the classification of TI-RADS category 4 thyroid nodules to improve the accuracy of benign and malignant identification of TI-RADS category 4 thyroid nodules. Materials and methods: Patients who visited in The First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University & Shandong Provincial Qianfoshan Hospital were collected. Their general clinical features, information on preoperative ultrasound diagnosis, and postoperative pathologic data were reviewed.
Therapeutic advances have significantly improved the survival of patients with cancer. However, these novel therapies are associated with a concomitant increase in the prevalence of toxicity, including cardiovascular complications of cancer therapy. Among these adverse drug reactions, heart failure and, more generally, cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction are the most concerning cardiovascular complications of cancer therapy, carrying a high morbidity burden and an elevated risk of death. Patients with both heart failure and cancer have a worse prognosis when compared with heart failure patients with no history of cancer. It is therefore crucial to enhance the identification of patients at a higher risk of cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction both before and during treatment, especially when utilizing cancer therapies with known potential cardiovascular adverse drug reactions. The explosion of new anticancer drugs has led to the potential association of these therapies with cardiac dysfunction. Using VigiBase, the World Health Organization's (WHO) global pharmacovigilance database, the investigators aimed to assess the relationship between cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction and the administration of anti-cancer drugs.
Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the effects of articaine or lidocaine in buccal infiltration or palatal infiltration in addition to buccal infiltration in maxillary first or second molars with irreversible pulpitis. Method: Among the patients who applied to Akdeniz University Faculty of Dentistry Endodontic Clinic for the treatment of maxillary molars with irreversible pulpitis, 80 volunteers who met the criteria were included in the study. Eighty patients were divided into 4 groups (n = 20). 1. group buccal infiltration with 4% articaine containing 1:100,000 epinephrine, 2. group buccal infiltration with 2% lidocaine containing 80,000 epinephrine, 3. group buccal and palatinal infiltration with 4% articaine containing 1:100,000 epinephrine, 4.group buccal and palatinal infiltration with 2% lidocaine containing 80.000 epinephrine. Pain during the endodontic procedure was determined and recorded according to the Heft Parker visual analog scale.

The goal of this observational study is to investigate the prevalence of Neurological Soft Signs (NSS) in various categories of dementia patients compared to matched controls. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Does the prevalence of NSS significantly differ among patients with neurodegenerative dementias compared to controls? - Are NSS associated with neuropsychiatric alterations in dementia patients? - Do NSS correlate with cognitive screening tools? - Do NSS increase over time in patients with neurodegenerative dementias? Participants will undergo assessments including: - Evaluation of NSS using the Heidelberg scale - Neuropsychiatric assessments - Cognitive screening using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Frontal Assessment Battery (FAB) Researchers will compare dementia groups (Alzheimer's disease, Frontotemporal dementia, Corticobasal syndrome and Lewy body dementia) to controls to determine differences in NSS prevalence. Additionally, associations between NSS and neuropsychiatric symptoms, as well as cognitive performance, will be explored.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the effect of chronotype differences on sleep quality and pregnancy symptoms in pregnant women. Methods: Eighty-five pregnant women in the second trimester were included in the study. The chronotypes of pregnant women were determined using the Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire (MEQ). Then, Oral Glucose Tolerance tests were performed on the participants between 24-28 weeks. Also, pregnant women's nausea and vomiting conditions with the Pregnancy-Unique Quantification of Emesis and Nausea (PUQE) and sleep quality with Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) were evaluated.
