Application of Pablizumab Combined With Apatinib and Chemotherapy in Resectable Non-small Cell Lung Cancer: A Prospective, Single Arm, Single Center Phase II Clinical Study of Neoadjuvant Therapy

This is a prospective, single arm, single center clinical study to determine the efficacy and safety of pablizumab combined with apatinib and neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with stage iia-iiia non-small cell lung cancer. No EGFR mutation or ALK gene translocation was found in the untreated patients with NSCLC stage IIa-IIIb diagnosed by imaging, histopathology or cytology. After informed consent is signed by the patients. The patients were treated according to the protocols. The patients were followed up from adjuvant treatment and follow-up to relapse free survival until disease progression, withdrawal of informed consent, loss of follow-up or death.

A Programme Using a Mobile Application Versus Phone Advice on Patients at Risk of Coronary Heart Disease - A RCT

It aims to compare the effects of a professional -led support programme using a mobile application versus telephone advice on clients at risk of coronary heart disease. A multi-centre, single-blinded, randomized controlled trial will be conducted. 168 Clients who are at risk of coronary heart disease (CHD), able to use a smart phone will be randomized into the App Support group (App group) or the Nursing Telephone advice (NTA) group . All participants will receive same nursing educational briefing related to CHD. The App Group will additional receive an app use to support their self care whereas the NTA group will receive nursing telephone advice for 20 minutes monthly. Health outcomes will be collected at baseline (T0), 1 months (T1), 3 months (T2). Data analysis will be conducted using a Generalized Estimating Equations model to assess differential changes in all outcome variables.

However, immunocompromised individuals have been excluded from studies of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. In such patients, the immune response to vaccination may be blunted. To better understand the immunogenicity of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines in transplant recipients, we quantified the humoral response to SARS-CoV-2 vaccine in kidney transplant recipients.

Trastuzumab Combined With Pertuzumab for Adjuvant Treatment of Breast Cancer After Neoadjuvant Therapy

Patients with HER-2 positive breast cancer who have poor outcomes after endocrinotherapy and standard chemotherapy can be significantly improved by the use of anti-HER-2 monoclonal antibody trastuzumab. In the current clinical practice of neoadjuvant therapy, trastuzumab combined with chemotherapy can significantly increase the pCR and improve the outcomes in patients. However, there seems to be no available treatment for patients who have no pCR and still have residual tumors except for sequential trastuzumab treatment for 1 year. Compared with trastuzumab, a HER-2 macromolecule inhibitor, pyrotinib has a different site of action and an increased EGFR target. Compared with lapatinib, a small molecule inhibitor of EGFR and HER-2, pyrotinib is an irreversible inhibitor, with the ability to achieve a better curative effect at a lower human plasma exposure level. This trial is designed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of trastuzumab combined with pertuzumab followed by sequential pyrotinib treatment in non-pCR patients after neoadjuvant therapy.
