The study will evaluate the safety & efficacy of AC-1204, a ketogenic compound, administered orally on a daily basis for 6 months. Following the 6 month double-blind phase of the study, subjects may enroll in an optional 6 month open-label extension phase. Efficacy will be evaluated by standard tests of memory and cognition, along with other measurements of activities of daily living and quality of life. Safety will be assessed by frequency of adverse events and changes in laboratory test results. Subjects will be stratified and outcomes will be separately analyzed based on apolipoprotein E4 genotype (APOE4).

Each patient will receive one SC injection of REGN475 or placebo and 1 IV infusion of either REGN475 or placebo, on day 1 (baseline) In order to preserve the blind, patients receiving REGN475 SC will also receive placebo IV, and patients receiving REGN475 IV will also receive placebo SC.

Effects of Caffeine on Women's Sexual Arousal

The key research question in this study is whether or not caffeine facilitates genital sexual arousal in women in the presence of an external erotic stimulus. Caffeine's impact on the human sexual response cycle has yet to be studied in the field, so the goal is to determine if this substance will have any impact on genital arousal well as potentially identify the mechanisms underlying its ability to do so. Considering that this will be a single blind study, a key goal of the project is to determine how participant expectations regarding what they ingest will impact their subjective sexual arousal. At present, we hypothesize that, as caffeine's stimulant properties increase a human's heart rate and blood pressure, caffeine intake will facilitate genital arousal.

Aggrastat Truncated Length Against Standard Therapies in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the efficacy of tirofiban (a 25mcg/kg i.v. bolus followed by a 0.15mcg/kg/min i.v. infusion during a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) plus two hours after the procedure) is more effective than placebo in the setting of standard therapies (e.g. aspirin, a thienopyridine, and unfractionated heparin or bivalirudin) among patients undergoing PCI, as assessed by the incidence of adverse cardiac ischemic events defined as death, myocardial infarction (MI), and urgent target vessel revascularization (uTVR) within 48 hours following study drug initiation. A secondary objective of this study is to assess whether tirofiban (a 25mcg/kg i.v. bolus followed by a 0.15mcg/kg/min i.v. infusion during a PCI plus two hours after the procedure) is safe compared to placebo in the setting of standard therapies (e.g. aspirin, a thienopyridine, and unfractionated heparin or bivalirudin) among patients undergoing PCI, as assessed by the incidence of non-CABG-related TIMI major bleeding within 48 hours following study drug initiation. MK-2206 for Recurrent Malignant Glioma

MK-2206 is a newly discovered drug that may slow or stop cancer growth. This drug has been used in other research studies, and information from those other research studies suggests that MK-2206 may help to slow or stop the growth of malignant gliomas. In addition, MK-2206 has the capacity to cross the blood-brain barrier. The blood-brain barrier (BBB) is a separation of circulating blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the central nervous system (CNS); and although it serves as a protective barrier, it can often interfere with potentially beneficial treatments reaching the brain successfully. Therefore, the investigators hope that because MK-2206 can successfully cross the blood-brain barrier, it will be more effective in patients. The purpose of this study is to see how well MK-2206 works in patients with malignant gliomas and will be conducted in two parts: Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 of the study will investigate the effects of MK-2206 on Akt signaling in tumor tissue. Ten patients with recurrent GBM who require reoperation will receive a short pre-operative course of MK-2206. After recovery from surgery, patients will resume MK-2206 until disease progression or the development of unacceptable toxicities. Part 2 of this trial will be initiated only AFTER analysis of Part 1 data shows drug penetration into tumor tissue; if there is no significant drug penetration into the tumor and/or there is no reduction of pAkt levels, progression to Part 2 of the trial will be halted. The primary goal of Part 2 is to determine the therapeutic efficacy of MK-2206 as measured by 6-month progression-free survival (PFS6). In Part 2, 40 participants with GBM and 18 with anaplastic glioma will be treated with MK-2206 weekly at a dose selected on the basis of an ongoing phase 1 study. Treatment duration will be measured in 4-week cycles. Participants will remain on treatment until tumor progression, as long as there are no unacceptable toxicities. Responses will be assessed by clinical examinations every 4 weeks and MRI scans every 8 weeks.
