NCT ID: NCT04995614 Completed - Bone Metastases Clinical Trials

Health-related Quality of Life, Psychological Distress and Fatigue in Metastatic CRPC Patients Treated With Radium-223

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of the current prospective multicenter study is to evaluate cancer-specific and bone metastases related HR-QoL, psychological distress and fatigue in mCRPC patients before, during and after treatment with radium-223 in daily practice. Furthermore, the investigators aim to determine patient groups with identical health-related quality of life patterns over time, in order to identify variables related to health-related quality of life deterioration during the course of treatment, as patients with health-related quality of life deterioration may need specific attention to preserve health-related quality of life.

NCT ID: NCT05051319 Completed - Elderly Clinical Trials

Factors Associated With Cognitive Status in the Elderly

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The aim of this study was to investigate the factors related to cognitive status in elderly individuals living in the community. A total of 841 elderly (female: 422, male: 419) living in the community were included in this cross-sectional study. The sociodemographic information of the elderly was recorded. In addition, cognitive status, quality of life, depression and musculoskeletal pain were questioned. The classification and regression tree analysis was used to identify factors associated with cognitive status. Age, depression, quality of life, neck pain, and headache were determinative on the cognitive status of the elderly. Knowing the factors related to cognitive status in elderly individuals living in the community is very important in terms of early diagnosis of factors that may affect the quality of life of these individuals.

NCT ID: NCT05063890 Completed - Neck Pain Clinical Trials

Comparison of Muscle Specific and Movement Specific Muscle Energy Technique in the Management of Mechanical Neck Pain: a Randomized Controlled Trial.

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

the purpose of this study is to compare the effects of muscle-specific muscle energy technique and movement-specific muscle energy technique in terms of pain, function and cervical range of motion in persons with mechanical neck pain.

NCT ID: NCT05147207 Completed - Hip Arthropathy Clinical Trials

SuperPath Versus Posterior Approach for THA

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The SuperPATH approach is a minimally invasive approach for total hip arthroplasty. This project randomized patients to the SuperPath versus posterior approach. Outcomes examined included functional, VAS pain, narcotic utilization, perioperative outcomes, and radiographic component positions. Participants were followed for 2 years. The aim was to examine if the SuperPATH approach provided significant advantages over the posterior approach on functional testing or return to work for patients.

NCT ID: NCT05152511 Completed - Clinical trials for Post-circumsion Complications

Management of Post-circumcision Ischemia Using Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Background: Post-circumcision penile ischaemia is a rare but destructive complication. Our goal is to present our experience in the management of children, who had different forms of penile ischaemia, complicating the routine ritual male circumcision. Material and Methods: All male children who had post-circumcision penile ischaemia between April 2017 and October 2020 were included in the study. A special designed protocol for management of all cases includes a combination of early Pentoxifylline intervenes infusion with Hyperbaric Oxygen inhalation, early catheterization, and appropriate surgical debridement. Data were analyzed inclusively to patient age, the anesthesia method used, Monopolar diathermy usage, early presentation, method of circumcision and positive wound culture.

NCT ID: NCT05324527 Completed - Anxiety Clinical Trials

The Effect of Preoperational Hand Massage Anxiety Level And Hemodynamic Variables

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study was conducted randomly controlled experimental to determine the effect of hand massage applied to pre-operative children on anxiety level and physical symptoms of anxiety.

NCT ID: NCT05364398 Completed - Clinical trials for Knee Ligament Injury

Comparison of ACL Reconstruction With Stump Preservation and Stump Resection

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To assess the clinical outcome in patients who had ACL reconstruction with preservation of the remnant and compare it with patients in whom the stump was resected

NCT ID: NCT05493436 Completed - Clinical trials for Disorder of Upper Esophageal Sphincter

The Influence of Obesity to Esophageal Reflux Severity Measured by pH-Metri Impedans on Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Patients

Start date: April 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To see a more convincing relationship between increased body mass index and the severity of esophageal reflux in GERD patients, GERD diagnosis should be performed with greater precision or precision. From the available data, it appears that no studies in Indonesia have correlated the body mass index with the severity of esophageal reflux events measured by multical intraluminal intraluminal pH-metric in patients with GERD due to the invasive nature of the test. Therefore, research needs to be done to assess the effect of increased body mass index on the severity of esophageal reflux as measured by multical intraluminal impedance pH-metric in GERD patients.
