This is pilot study for a 3-arm parallel pragmatic randomized controlled trial that will compare pharmacopuncture therapy, acupunture therapy and physical therapy, medication(prn) for cervical disc herniation.
People with Crohn's disease often need surgery. The gut bacteria of people with Crohn's is associated with Crohn's disease coming back after surgery. Fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) after surgery might be a way to prevent Crohn's disease from coming back after surgery. This study aims to determine if fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) taken by capsules results in the same amount of good bacteria in the guts as FMT by colonoscopy in people with Crohn's disease who have had surgery. Participants will be randomized to get FMT by capsules or colonoscopy. Colonoscopy with biopsies 8-weeks after the FMT will be used to assess the good bacteria in the gut.

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the impact of awareness of high polygenic risk for CVD on health behavior among young overweight adults. We want to evaluate the impact of awareness of high polygenic risk for CVD on body mass index within 12 months, the impact of awareness of high polygenic risk for CVD on other health indicators (physical activity, systolic blood pressure, cholesterol and triglyceride levels, smoking, waist circumference, CVD risk score), and assess the cost-effectiveness of informing people about the high polygenic risk for CVD. The trial will be conducted in a primary care setting, for which the high genetic-risk subjects will be invited to visit their family physician. In the course of the first visit, the family physician will assess the participant's health status and will counsel the participant on healthy choices for increasing their level of physical activity and losing weight. If necessary, the family physician will start treatment to lower the participant's blood pressure or cholesterol following current treatment guidelines. The participants in the intervention group will be informed of their high polygenic risk for CVD at the start of the study, while the control subjects at the end of the study. There will be three study visits at 6-month intervals. Between visits, the participants will receive reminders via a mobile health application to change their health behavior. At the end of the trial (month 12), the health indicators of the participants will be assessed and compared between the three trial groups. If a significant difference in BMI is found, it will presumably be related to the fact of learning of the high genetic risk, in which case the use of genetic data in primary prevention may be considered effective.
This study is meant primarily to assess the deployment of the ADI CPM System in a clinical setting and determine interoperability of the CPM System within existing care pathways for patients with CHF. In this initial study the CPM System will not be used to determine or support clinical decision making however post deployment the clinical study team will review patient HF events and changes in treatment during the course of the deployment and compare to the data generated by the CPM System during the study to determine the accuracy of the patient generated data as a basis for designing a more comprehensive "interventional study" to determine clinical and financial efficacy of the CPM System.
The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to compare the effectiveness of a pelvic floor rehabilitation program in a face-to-face versus remote in community-dwelling elderly women with urinary incontinence. The main question it aims to answer is: What is the difference in effectiveness of a pelvic floor rehabilitation program through face-to-face versus remote intervention? Participants will be divided into three groups: Synchronous Group: will receive guidance and perform a real-time guided pelvic physiotherapy protocol through online physiotherapy by the physiotherapist, Asynchronous Group: will receive guidance and perform a pelvic physiotherapy protocol after the evaluation, without the real-time monitoring by the physical therapist and face-to-face group: will receive guidelines and will perform a pelvic physiotherapy protocol oriented in person by the physical therapist. All groups will receive the same treatment for 12 weeks, which will include floor muscle training pelvic floor, urge suppression techniques, bladder training and behavioral therapy. Participants will be evaluated pre-treatment, at the end of the 6th week, and at the end of 12 weeks.
People with disabilities are less physically active than the general population. Currently, the level of leisure physical activity of people who are members or users of APF France handicap and their barriers to physical activity are unknown. The APF France handicap association is a national movement for the defense and representation of people with disabilities and their families. It represents all types and severities of disability. The objective of this study is to describe the level of leisure physical activity of people who are members or users of APF France handicap and their barriers to physical activity.
The aim of this research study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the ION endoluminal system at reaching and obtaining biopsies from lung nodules when used in combination with 3-dimensional imaging such as CT scans. Data on safety will also be collected.

The elderly population is increasing in Turkey and in the world. Many health problems, such as a decrease in physical and psychological abilities and an increase in chronic problems, occur with aging. It is important to encourage and support practices for the development of exercises to increase physical and cognitive capacity in order to early recognize and reduce the effects of problems that develop with aging. To the best of our knowledge, there is no exercise training to increase reaction time in the elderly in the literature.
