Improvement in biomarker, imaging research have led to new predictors for the prognosis, which may have great clinical value in the current era of personalized medicine. However, there is no available biomarker-based prediction rule for risk assessment of adverse events in patients with stable angina and acute coronary disease. Therefore, we aim to develop and validate a new biomarker-based risk model to improve the prognostication of adverse events (e.g. ischemic and bleeding events ) in the patient population.
In our study, Netrin -1; We found that patients with ACS increased at the time of admission, decreased TIMI 3 flow after angiography, and higher risk groups in high risk groups such as TIMI and GRACE were found to have higher Netrin-1 levels.
The study aims to show inferiority of rivaroxaban plus ticagrelor when compared to rivaroxaban plus clopidogrel in terms of safety. Safety will be determined by comparing the rates of death or ischemic event-including myocardial infarction, definite or probable stent thrombosis, stroke, or urgent revascularization.
The decision of emergency reperfusion of a suspected acute coronary artery occlusion by means of percutaneous coronary intervention or intravenous thrombolytics depends on the presence of a certain amount of ST-segment elevation in the electrocardiogram (ECG) as recommended by international guidelines. However, recommended ST-segment elevation cut-off values for acute coronary occlusion diagnosis are highly insensitive, and their evidence base is weak. The objective of this study is to test the accuracy of various electrocardiographic patterns (including, but not limited to, ST-segment elevation) for the diagnosis of acute coronary occlusion. This information can serve to offer an accuracy profile for various ECG findings and enable clinicians to define the ECG probability of an acute coronary occlusion according to these ECG findings and clinical picture, which in turn would provide a significant improvement in the care for patients who present to the hospital with possible coronary occlusion. The primary analysis will be designed as a single-center, retrospective case-control study.

The main objective of the trial is to find out if 4-hour continuous infusion of parenteral P2Y12 inhibitor cangrelor at the start of primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) immediately and effectively suppresses platelet activity in comatose survivors of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). Half of the participants will receive the standard care of dual antiplatelet therapy - acetysalicylic acid and ticagrelor tablets via nasogastric or orogastric tube and the other half the standard care with additional cangrelor infusion at the start of the PCI.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a well-known disorder of upper airways collapse during sleep time leading to oxygen desaturation and sleep fragmentation. Despite being increasingly recognized as cardiovascular risk, the effect of OSA on clinical outcomes after Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) is not fully defined. Also, OSA syndrome is highly prevalent in ACS and may be related to the deterioration of cardiac function resulting in worsening of the severity of sleep apnea or the intermittent hypoxia could be cardio-protective via the ischemic preconditioning event. Serial sleep studies have shown the progressive reduction of the Apnea / Hypopnea Index (AHI) from the admission in Coronary Care Unit (CCU) to 6 weeks, 12 weeks and 6-month follow up, making necessary to re-assess the severity of OSA after discharge. Therefore, further research in this field is necessary to screen and predict those ACS patients who may experience a change in their AHI index over time.
