NCT ID: NCT04490421 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Small Cell Lung Cancer

Camrelizumab Combined With Apatinib, Etoposide and Cisplatin Treat Small-cell Lung Cancer.

Start date: August 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Small cell lung cancer is a highly malignant tumor, and its first-line treatment has not broken through platinum-containing dual-drug chemotherapy in the past 30 years. Because small cell lung cancer has the characteristics of easy resistance after first-line chemotherapy, increased difficulty in treatment after resistance, and poor efficacy of second-line treatment, how to formulate a plan that can control tumor progression to the greatest extent has become a hot issue in recent research. Recently, immunotherapy and targeted therapy have made breakthrough progress in small cell lung cancer, but its efficacy still needs to be further improved. As immune combined chemotherapy combined with targeted therapy first achieved good results in other tumors, this study aims to explore a longer disease-free survival time and higher overall survival rate of patients with small cell lung cancer through immunotherapy combined with targeted therapy combined with chemotherapy. Program to bring new hope to patients. At the same time, this study will evaluate the safety of the program, explore the prognostic indicators that may exist in the treatment, and provide new inspiration for subsequent patient selection.

NCT ID: NCT04472949 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Thoracic Radiotherapy Plus Maintenance Durvalumab After First Line Carboplatin and Etoposide Plus Durvalumab in Extensive-stage Disease Small Cell Lung Cancer (ED-SCLC).

Start date: June 25, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Standard of care for Extensive-Stage Disease (ED) Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) as first-line treatment is 4 to 6 cycles of platinum based chemotherapy (carboplatin or cisplatin) in combination with etoposide. However, the outcome of the disease remains poor with a median overall survival of approximately 10 months, mainly caused by rapid development of drug resistance. The risk of intrathoracic recurrences can be reduced and an improved 2-year survival can be achieved with the addition of thoracic radiotherapy (tRT). The main objective of the trial is to evaluate the efficacy of tRT combined with maintenance durvalumab in SCLC after chemoimmunotherapy. Secondary objective is to evaluate the safety of tRT combined with maintenance durvalumab in SCLC after chemo-immunotherapy. For this trial durvalumab is the IMP. Patients will start with an induction phase (part 1): Patients will receive durvalumab in combination with carboplatin and etoposide for 4 cycles of 21 days. Patients with CR; PR or SD after the induction phase, will transfer to the maintenance phase (part 2): Patients will receive durvalumab treatment up to PD or max. 2 years, i.e. 26 maintenance cycles, in combination with tRT. Patients with PD after the induction phase will transfer to the follow-up phase: Patients will be followed up for 24 months, every 8 weeks.

Start date: December 29, 2020
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A Phase 1/2 Open-label, Multicenter, Dose Escalation and Dose Expansion Study of the Safety, Tolerability, and Pharmacokinetics of HPN328 Monotherapy and HPN328 With Atezolizumab in Patients With Advanced Cancers Associated With Expression of Delta-like Canonical Notch Ligand 3 (DLL3)

NCT ID: NCT04451460 Completed - Clinical trials for Small Cell Lung Cancer

Effect of Hyponatremia in Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: January 1, 2012
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this retrospective study, the investigators determined the frequency of hyponatremia in small cell lung cancer and the prognosis. 126 (27%) of 466 patients were hyponatremic. Hyponatremia could not be corrected in 50.8% (n=64) of hyponatremic patients. Survival was found to be better in the group of whom hyponatremia was corrected.
