Filter by:The purpose of this study is to collect preliminary data on the feasibility and acceptability of the randomization of two relapse-prevention treatment conditions after discharge from intensive eating disorder (ED) treatment: an imaginal exposure therapy and a writing and thinking intervention. The second aim to test for (a) differences between the two treatments for the prevention of relapse and (b) preliminary change on clinical ED outcomes (e.g., ED symptoms, fears). The investigators further aim to examine the two treatments target fear extinction and if fear extinction is associated with ED outcomes. The investigators also plan to test if baseline differences in fear conditioning relate to change in ED outcomes across treatment.

This phase I trial is to find out the best dose, possible benefits and/or side effects of third-party natural killer cells in combination with mogamulizumab in treating patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma or adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Immunotherapy with third-party natural killer cells, may induce changes in body's immune system and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Mogamulizumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Giving third-party natural killer cells in combination with mogamulizumab may kill more cancer cells.
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the most common bacterial infections worldwide. It affects 150 million people annually. Treatment of patients with UTI entails a high consumption of antibiotics and large social and health costs. With this protocol, we want to elucidate alternative treatment methods for especially recurrent urinary tract infection. Bacteria have internal competitiveness (bacterial interference) and it is known that the non-pathogenic E.coli can outcompete the pathogenic E.coli in laboratory studies. We intend to strengthen the clinical evidence that it can be used as patient treatment through a clinical, placebo-controlled, double-blind trial at Odense University Hospital.
The purpose of this study is to see how well pioglitazone, when used with cognitive behavioral therapy, works at helping people who have recently stopped using cocaine to continue to not use cocaine.
This phase I/Ib trial is to find out the best dose, possible benefits and/or side effects of BET bromodomain inhibitor ZEN-3694 (ZEN003694) when given in combination with nivolumab with or without ipilimumab in treating patients with solid tumors. ZEN003694 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving ZEN003694 in combination with nivolumab with or without ipilimumab may shrink or stabilize solid tumors.
