Filter by:The purpose of this research is to find hidden cancer with an experimental magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan called spectroscopic magnetic resonance imaging (sMRI). That spectroscopic MRI scan will be used to increase the area of the brain receiving radiation and then the dose of radiation in attempt to kill more of the cancer. Proton radiotherapy and bevacizumab (Avastin) are used to minimize the possible side effects of this approach.
This is a Phase 2, open-label, multicenter, single-arm study of NRC-2694-A in combination with paclitaxel in patients with R/M HNSCC with progression on or after ICI therapy. A total of approximately 46 male and female patients will be enrolled. This sample size is based on Simon's 2-stage design with historical control ORR of 30% and a target ORR of 50%.
Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection has become one of the most important health problems faced by women all over the world. A large number of studies have shown that women's cervical, vaginal and perianal precancerous lesions, related cancers, condyloma acuminatum and other sexually transmitted diseases (STD) are closely related to HPV infection. Among them, the persistent infection of high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) is closely related to the occurrence of invasive cervical cancer. Previous studies have shown that there are significant differences in the effects of multiple HPV infection and persistent infection of different types (such as type-16, -18, -39 and -52) on different levels of cervical lesions, and there is a certain correlation between HPV load in the process of persistent infection and the degree of cervical lesions. In addition, other studies have shown that HPV-16 viral load has certain clinical significance in predicting Cin2 / CIN3 high-grade cervical lesions, and HPV viral load level is significantly different in cervical low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LSIL) and cervical high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL). The above biological changes such as HPV infection type, quantity and proportion can promote the occurrence and development of cervical precancerous lesions and related cancers to varying degrees. It can be seen that the study of the relationship between HPV viral load and cervical lesions is of great significance for clinical disease development prediction and cervical cancer screening.
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of Lutathera (177Lu-DOTATATE) in patients with progressive or recurrent High-Grade Central Nervous System (CNS) tumors and meningiomas that demonstrate uptake on DOTATATE PET. The drug will be given intravenously once every 8 weeks for a total of up to 4 doses over 8 months in patients aged 4-12 years (Phase I) or older than 12 yrs (Phase II) to test its safety and efficacy, respectively. Funding Source - FDA OOPD (grant number FD-R-0532-01)
This study will evaluate the safety and tolerability of LYL797, a ROR1-targeted CAR T-cell therapy, in patients with ROR1+ relapsed or refractory triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) or non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The first part of the study will determine the safe dose for the next part of the study, and will enroll TNBC and NSCLC patients. The second part of the study will test that dose in additional TNBC and NSCLC patients.
This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of nivolumab in combination with ASTX727 in treating B-cell lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. ASTX727 consists of the combination of decitabine and cedazuridine. Cedazuridine is in a class of medications called cytidine deaminase inhibitors. It prevents the breakdown of decitabine, making it more available in the body so that decitabine will have a greater effect. Decitabine is in a class of medications called hypomethylation agents. It works by helping the bone marrow produce normal blood cells and by killing abnormal cells in the bone marrow. Giving nivolumab in combination with ASTX727 may shrink and stabilize cancer.
This is a multi-center, open-label Phase 2 study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of BA3021 in PD-1/L1 failure patients with ROR-2 expression in recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.
This is a single-arm, open-label phase I study to determine the safety, tolerability, and recommended dose (RD) of CAR-T-19 cells for patients with CD19+ relapse/refractory B-ALL under the age of 25.
This prospective cohort study primarily aims to examine the association between blood niacin levels and recurrent miscarriage.
The clinical trial aims to evaluate the efficacy of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) after standard of care treatment (either vancomycin or fidaxomicin) vs the pragmatic use of standard of care treatment (either vancomycin or fidaxomicin) in severe and non-severe first episode and first recurrence of Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI). Experimental arm: antibiotic treatment (vancomycin or fidaxomicin as initially prescribed per SoC continued for 10 days) followed by FMT by oral capsules (one FMT, i.e. 20 FMT capsules given on 2 consecutive days, and followed by a 2nd FMT in severe CDI). Control Arm: vancomycin or fidaxomicin as initially prescribed per SoC continued for 10 days.
