Post Operative Pain of Partial Pulpotomy Using a Bioceramic Material in Patients With Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis

The goal of this clinical trial is to assess post-operative pain of partial pulpotomy using a newly introduced Bioceramic material in young patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis at 24, 48, 72 hours postoperatively using visual analogue scale (VAS). The main question[s] it aims to answer are: • In patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis does the use of bioceramic material in partial pulpotomy decrease amount of post operative pain in comparison to conventional root canal treatment? Participants will record the intensity of pain at 24,48, 72 hours postoperatively.

Articaine Efficiency in Pulpectomy of Children With Irreversible Pulpitis Under the Age of Four

A two-tailed randomized controlled trial with two parallel arms is aimed to compare success proportions of the articaine and lidocaine groups in children with irreversible pulpitis under 4 years. The participants will be randomly assigned into two equal groups (82 children per group): the control group will receive lidocaine and the intervention group will receive the articaine local anesthesia. The direct observation tool FLACC was considered to assess pain severity. The behavior was assessed during pulpectomy procedures using the Frankl behavior rating scale (FBRS)

Evaluation of Post-operative Pain After Total Pulpotomy and Root Canal Treatment

The aim of this study was to compare post-operative pain following total pulpotomy (TP) and root canal treatment (RCT) in mature molar teeth with severe symptoms indicative of irreversible pulpitis. To compare the traditional pulpitis classification with the Wolters system in evaluating post-operative pain. Materials and Methods: Sixty-four mature mandibular molar with symptomatic vital pulps in patients aged 18-60 years were included and were classified according to the Wolters (moderate/severe pulpitis) and the traditional pulpitis classification (reversible/irreversible pulpitis). The teeth randomly divided into 2 groups. RCT was performed, using standardized protocols. TP was performed to the level of the canal orifices, and haemostasis was achieved with 2.5% NaOCl. 3 mm layer of MTA was placed as the pulpotomy agent. The treated teeth were restored with glass ionomer cement followed by composite. Pain was recorded 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 hours and 7 days after treatment. The data collected were statistically analyzed

Comparison of Calcium Silicate-based Sealer and Epoxy Resin-based Sealer

Background: Sealers have been concerned with obturation. However, studies for assessing the effectiveness of endodontic treatment of sealer based on Calcium Silicate have been not much. Objective: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of endodontic treatment of sealer based on Calcium Silicate Methods: A prospective, single-blind, clinical trial was conducted from June 2020 to December 2020 with 42 irreversible pulpitis teeth by one clinician. The postoperative pain was assessed after root canal treatment using sealer based on Calcium Silicate and sealer based on Epoxy resin after 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours and 7 days and inconvenient symptoms were assessed after 7 days, 3 months and 6 months. t-test, Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon analysis were applied. Evaluation of Nano Bioactive Glass Combined With i-PRF Scaffold in Vital Pulp Treatments

With consideration of the previous studies regarding the properties of i-PRF, it will be used in combination with another bioactive material: (Nano-BAG) versus using of i-PRF only as a pulpotomy material with using a premixed bioceramic putty as a coronal sealing material in both cases, to evaluate if there is a difference in the success rate of pulpotomy in case of using Nano-BAG in combination with i-PRF So, in this study the investigators will use Nano-BAG in combination with i-PRF as a material for pulpotomy in cases of mature permanent mandibular molars and compare its outcomes with using i-PRF only and in both cases pulpotomy material will be covered with a layer of premixed bioceramic putty for coronal sealing.

Assessing Success of MTA and Pre-mixed Bioceramic in Mature Teeth With Irreversible Pulpitis With Full Pulpotomy.

Although many pulpotomy agents are commercially available, there is a dearth of clinical research comparing the efficacy of these agents in treating individuals with irreversible pulpitis. Bioceramic and MTA both have similar clinical uses, but Bioceramic is distinguished from MTA by its superior chemical, physical, and biological properties. This study aims to address this knowledge deficit by assessing the performance of biocompatible materials in pulpotomy procedures for the treatment of symptomatic permanent teeth in adults with deep caries. For permanent teeth with a completed root and a diagnosis of irreversible pulpitis without apical periodontitis, this research will compare the success rates of MTA and EBRRM pulpotomy procedures in order to provide evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for the treatment of this disease.
