Filter by:QSPainRelief-patientCNS is a monocentric prospective longitudinal study conducted in patients suffering from disabling post-surgical pain for which the treating physician is about to prescribe a given drug combination for the treatment of their pain with the aim of identifying measures of drug-induced effects on CNS activity that could be used as biomarkers of real-life clinical outcome, both in terms of desired treatment effects (treatment-induced pain relief) but also in terms of undesired treatment effects (treatment-induced sedation and treatment-induced cognitive dysfunction).
To compare the effect of cryotherapy versus ketorolac tromethamine irrigating solutions used as a final flush in single visit endodontic treatment in mandibular molars, with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis and apical periodontitis on the: - Intensity of post-operative pain in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis - Reduction of expression of Interleukin-8 (IL-8) post-instrumentation using ELISA - The analgesic intake following endodontic treatment for post-operative pain relief.
The aim of this study is to clinically compare the post-operative pain level and antibacterial effect when using the Diclofenac Potassium Insitu gel versus calcium hydroxide as an intra- canal medication in patients with apical periodontitis.
This study aim to compare the efficiency and the analgesic effect of Erector Spinal Plane Block versus TAP Block after laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
This study evaluate the adequate dose of mutonpain for laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the management of post operative pain. The investigators will randomize patients into three groups to compare the analgesia effects and side effects.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of liposomal bupivicaine in post operative analgesia for patients undergoing bariatric surgery when compared to conventional local analgesia. Patients will be randomly selected to receive either liposomal bupivicaine or conventional bupivicaine via a transversus abdominal plane block during surgery. Patients will be followed post-operatively to assess use of narcotics, post-operative pain and nausea scores, and length of stay.
Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a technique of noninvasive cortical stimulation allowing significant modification of brain function used. Clinical application of this technique could be helpful for pain, Parkinson's disease, dystonia, cerebral palsy and dementia etc. And tDCS is safe with only mild, transient adverse effects. But there is few studies focused to postoperative states. The aim of this project is to reveal the effect of tDCS for postoperative pain after total knee replacement surgery,
the purpose of this study is monitoring Postoperative pain in Children Aged from 3 to 5 years following Full mouth Dental Rehabilitation under General Anesthesia
this study will assess different irrigating materials on the success revascularization of necrotic mature teeth associated with PRF.
PRF110 is new extended release oily solution formulation of ropivacaine that is intended for local infiltration into surgical wounds. The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and early efficacy of PRF110 in bunionectomy surgery, to measure the pharmacokinetic profile of PRF110 over 72 hours and evaluate the duration of analgesia witnessed in the surgical setting.
