NCT ID: NCT02418286 Completed - Pain Clinical Trials

KLOS Study - Korean Medicine Registry for Low Back Pain Patients, a Prospective, Observational, Multicenter, Pilot Study

KLOS
Start date: March 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The Purpose of this trial is to define the characteristics of the in/outpatients with low back pain in traditional Korean medicine rehabilitation clinic. This information will create a registry that will help us to compare similarities and differences in patients and their symptoms. The more patients the investigators are able to enter into the registry, the more the investigators will be able to understand the low back pain and learn better ways of caring for patients.

NCT ID: NCT02301364 Completed - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Buparlisib (BKM120) In Patients With Recurrent/Refractory Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma (PCNSL) and Recurrent/Refractory Secondary Central Nervous System Lymphoma (SCNSL)

Start date: November 20, 2014
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to find out what effects, good and/or bad, Buparlisib (also known as BKM120) has on lymphoma and the central nervous system.

NCT ID: NCT02179333 Completed - Friedreich's Ataxia Clinical Trials

Preliminary Study of the Scale To Assess Ataxia and Neurologic Dysfunction (STAND)

STAND
Start date: October 2012
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objectives of this study are: - To validate the inter-rater and intra-rater reliability of a new scale for the assessment of ataxia and neurologic dysfunction (STAND) - To assess common constructs and correlation between STAND subscale items.

NCT ID: NCT02038491 Completed - Clinical trials for Cardiovascular Diseases

RICALOR Italian Registry for Complications During Regional Anesthesia

RICALOR
Start date: May 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Regional anesthesia is the cornerstone of modern postoperative analgesia, but concerns remain about possible adverse effects and complication. RICALOR Group Investigators developed a national registry to register the incidence of regional anesthesia-associated complications and to identify possible risk factors.

NCT ID: NCT01969370 Completed - Cancer Clinical Trials

NCGENES: North Carolina Clinical Genomic Evaluation by NextGen Exome Sequencing

NCGENES
Start date: August 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is part of a larger consortium project investigating the validity and best use of next-generation sequencing (in particular, whole exome sequencing, or WES) in clinical care. This sub-project is investigating benefits and harms of providing WES diagnostic and different types of incidental findings to adult patients and parents of pediatric patients who undergo WES because they have symptoms suggesting genetic disease.

NCT ID: NCT01708668 Recruiting - Pain Clinical Trials

The Effects of Intermittent Epidural Bolus on Fever During Labor Analgesia

EIEBFLA
Start date: October 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Epidural analgesia is associated with maternal intra-partum fever during labor. Intermittent epidural injections appear to reduce the incidence of maternal intra-partum fever compared to continuous epidural infusion during labor analgesia. However, the optimal combination of bolus volume and administrating interval has not yet been compared. The purpose of this prospective, randomized, double-blind trial was to determine how intermittent epidural bolus reduced the incidence of maternal intra-partum fever compared with continuous epidural infusion during labor.

NCT ID: NCT01615172 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Neurologic Manifestations

The purpose of the Post-Market Surveillance study is to evaluate safety.

NCT ID: NCT01456884 Completed - Clinical trials for Neurological Impairment

Music Therapy for Pain Modification in Pediatric Palliative Care

Start date: January 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this within-subjects randomized controlled trial is to determine whether two music therapy interventions are efficacious in reducing pain symptoms, in order to improve the quality of care for children in pediatric hospice. The investigators hypothesize that both music therapy interventions, live guitar and vocal intervention and vibroacoustic intervention, will reduce behavioural pain scores and that behavioural pain scores will correlate with physiological outcome measures.
